We once called this historic venue in the center of Ivrea a "baretto" and has now become a truly prestigious restaurant. I ate divinely and the owner welcomed me with infinite kindness and total availability. Even the girl who helps in the service is really very attentive to everything... smiling and which is no small feat, every now and then she comes by and asks you if you have any needs and if everything is fine. I ordered Orecchiette with homemade pistachio pesto cut with sautéed vegetables all accompanied by a good Negroamaro from Salento and to top it all off a pannacotta with homemade caramel, everything was delicious and I really enjoyed it... on the other hand my dad, good soul, always came here to eat and he was a really good foodie and I was sick of hunger for reviews like him. Well dad I'm sure you will have given them a fantastic review..but this time it's my turn. It's a shame we never came together. Well done girls, continue like this in making a difference in this increasingly mediocre and tasteless context...now the photos!!!

Five stars deserved.
The premises are very clean and tidy, the staff is friendly and competent. The service is attentive and fast.
The food is excellent, we tried the first courses, truly exceptional, excellent cooking and very tasty, the side dishes excellent. Extraordinary value for money.
Suggestion for the chef, increase the portions of the first courses very slightly, I think it would be a plus for the place.
However we will definitely return.
A special thank you to the lady present in the room, very kind and attentive to the needs of the customers present.

Ho mangiato un centinaio di volte qui in questi anni, nelle pause pranzo quando ancora c’era il famoso tris, nelle cene a tema, per i compleanni, durante il covid con l’asporto, ho ordinato pastiere a Pasqua e torte a strati per le feste della mia famiglia. Non ho mai trovato gli stessi piatti nel menu. Ogni volta é una conferma. Il risotto é sempre il top, le carni con i mirtilli, i piatti eritrei, i pesti di spinaci o di qualsiasi altra cosa, le verdure raccolte il mattino stesso dal contadino di Bollengo. Persino il minestrone di verdura é un viaggio.

Cozy, clean, light-filled environment! And the food? Excellent, special, each dish has its own personality, and as I went every now and then I noticed that the menu often varies, ranging between recipes that always have a little touch of imagination and unique flavours.
Very digestible dishes, therefore also suitable for quick business lunches!
The sweets? Special and seasonal!
I highly recommend you try it! Absolutely try it!

It was with great pleasure that we discovered this place run by a friendly couple who are also very talented in cooking fresh local products. The menu changes often and sometimes there are themed meals. Added to all these qualities is a very competitive price/quality ratio. In short, an address not to be missed.
