20/08/2026: We had the opportunity to eat breakfast at Prestipino during our stay in Catania. The food was delicious, with something for everyone, both savory and sweet. For me, it was the best food of the entire trip. The service was very friendly, and I highly recommend it.

19/08/2026: A delicious pastry shop/café in the heart of Catania, opposite the Duomo, with plenty of seating both inside and out. It seems touristy, but the products are truly high-quality. It's a fantastic place to find everything from desserts and pastries to savory treats and coffee. They have a huge selection; we ordered some takeaway pastries, which were kindly and carefully stored by the older lady. My only complaint is that the younger staff are slow and inattentive!
