Risotteria Melotti In Isola della scala

Very good risotto! Elegant and clean place.

Risotteria Melotti is a small place in Isola della Scala where rice is obviously king. Any product is gluten-free, including bread. We ordered fried gnocchi with cured meats, arancini, risotto all'isolana and cacio e pepe. What can I say, the risotto was probably the best I had ever eaten and the portions are so generous. As for the other dishes, I appreciated the fried gnocchi and the tiramisu, less so the arancini which in my opinion are too far from what one expects as arancini. The prices are low considering that you leave the place with a really full stomach. The only note is the service, which is a little too cold for what is instead an "inn" context. That said, highly recommended.

Questo locale propone un menù esclusivamente di piatti a base di riso prodotto dall'omonima riseria. A fare la parte del leone sono ovviamente i risotti dei quali c'è un ampia scelta. Ne abbiamo assaggiati ben sette, che ho trovato tutti ben eseguiti in termini di cottura e amalgama con il condimento. Quanto aggli abbinamenti tra sapori, alcuni li ho trovati molto azzeccati, come ad esempio quello con riso lillà, broccoli e agrumi o zafferano e black angus, qualcun'altro meno riuscito (in quello con anatra, arancia e pinoli, il selvatico dell'anatra risultava troppo invadente e copriva tutto il resto. Nel complesso siamo comunque rimasti pienamente soddisfatti. Lo staff è gentile e competente nellla spiegazione dei piatti e nel consigliare riguardo alle porzioni. Il locale è rustico e famigliare ma ben ordinato; non ho apprezzato molto gli schermi sui quali vengono continuamente proiettate le immagini della riseria e degli altri locali della proprietà, che stonano con l'atmosfera e lo stile generali. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo.

Prima volta ma certamente non sarà l'ultima. Locale caldo ed accogliente. Curato negli arredi. Cortese e disponibile il servizio. Un menù ricco di proposte 100% gluten free. Abbiamo optato per il menù degustazione. Deliziose le pietanze arrivate con i giusti tempi al nostro tavolo. Adeguato il rapporto qualità e prezzo. Ho approfittato anche dei prodotti in vendita. I was invited by friends for lunch and it was a real delight. Fried pumpkin and gorfomzola cream as an appetizer, four tastings of wonderful risottos (with Amarone, with radicchio and Monte Veronese, with leeks, gorgonzola and crispy speck and with saffron and sausage with truffle). We had a great time: very courteous and professional staff, adequate bill. I will definitely come back

Very nice, quiet place, very kind staff who make you feel in a familiar environment and know how to give you the best advice, the food is presented wonderfully but above all it is super delicious, a restaurant to return to and recommend to everyone

Chopping board with good local products. For the rest everything is based on rice, from appetizers to desserts. Generous portions. All very good and fair prices. Very nice place, shame about the presence of various TVs on which films of the farm were filmed, personally I found them superfluous to say the least, but that's just a flaw.
