A renowned and excellent risotto restaurant in Isola della Scala. I've been there more than once and have always been delighted: from the service to the food to the wines. Fair prices and excellent food quality. Among my favorite risottos are the pumpkin risotto, the leek risotto, and the scallops risotto.

Rustic and comfortable atmosphere with friendly staff. We ordered an appetizer of arancini with rice in Amarone and Gorgonzola, truly exceptional, followed by risotto all'isolana and risotto with lilac rice, shrimp, and lemon: both delicious, the rice perfectly cooked. We finished with sbrisolona and zabaglione and rice cake tiramisu, both very good, and a special mention for the tiramisu, which was soft, smooth, and flavorful with a fresh mascarpone...it melted in your mouth. The price was more than fair. Recommended.

This place is really beautiful. I love how it's decorated inside, and all the waitresses were very kind to us. We had the risotto with candela and another with pine nuts and duck. Both were really good. I'd go back to try the other dishes. As a reminder, we ordered the tiramisu with plum cake. Very original. I've never had it like this before.

The girls are always good, and the cooks are good. If you like risotto, this is perfect!

Went there by mistake a few years ago...now it's a regular stop when we pass by every year....excellent overall, excellent food and very generous portions...

Risotteria located in the center of Isola della Scala, present with other locations in Italy even in NY. We tasted the traditional rice all'isolana and a blueberry and gorgonzola risotto: both sublime, served in very generous portions, but the first of the two is a must if you are visiting the city for the first time. Average prices and extremely pleasant atmosphere. You can perceive the quality of the raw material and direct production; everything on the menu is produced with their rice and also everything is gluten free. Impeccable service, courteous, professional and helpful staff.

Prima volta ma certamente non sarà l'ultima. Locale caldo ed accogliente. Curato negli arredi. Cortese e disponibile il servizio. Un menù ricco di proposte 100% gluten free. Abbiamo optato per il menù degustazione. Deliziose le pietanze arrivate con i giusti tempi al nostro tavolo. Adeguato il rapporto qualità e prezzo. Ho approfittato anche dei prodotti in vendita. Questo locale propone un menù esclusivamente di piatti a base di riso prodotto dall'omonima riseria. A fare la parte del leone sono ovviamente i risotti dei quali c'è un ampia scelta. Ne abbiamo assaggiati ben sette, che ho trovato tutti ben eseguiti in termini di cottura e amalgama con il condimento. Quanto aggli abbinamenti tra sapori, alcuni li ho trovati molto azzeccati, come ad esempio quello con riso lillà, broccoli e agrumi o zafferano e black angus, qualcun'altro meno riuscito (in quello con anatra, arancia e pinoli, il selvatico dell'anatra risultava troppo invadente e copriva tutto il resto. Nel complesso siamo comunque rimasti pienamente soddisfatti. Lo staff è gentile e competente nellla spiegazione dei piatti e nel consigliare riguardo alle porzioni. Il locale è rustico e famigliare ma ben ordinato; non ho apprezzato molto gli schermi sui quali vengono continuamente proiettate le immagini della riseria e degli altri locali della proprietà, che stonano con l'atmosfera e lo stile generali. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo.
