Fantastic Carbonara, the pasta was perfectly al dente, the guanciale was perfectly crispy and the sauce was exactly what you would expect proper Roman Carbonara to taste like.

The atmosphere is pleasantly unconventional, in keeping with the adjacent hotel (they are managed separately, but complement each other). The cuisine is largely Roman, lightened and presented with an international flair, expertly executed. Excellent service.

Informal atmosphere, good food, fast and friendly service. It's part of the Ripa Hotel, one of Rome's most modern hotels at the time, with a strong focus on design (the Ripa Art Caffè, a trendy evening club among Rome's elite, was also open at the time). Everything seems a bit dated these days, but the experience is still pleasant. I'll definitely be back.

21/04/2026: Very good arrosticini, friendly staff, and a casual, clean atmosphere. Suggestion for the manager: If a guest finds something that shouldn't be on their plate, they should discreetly report it to the wait staff. They shouldn't charge 50% of the cost of that dish on their bill. This is truly a disappointing approach. You won't get rich or poor for €4, but it would certainly improve the service provided to guests.
12/04/2026: Arrosticini in Magliana in a homey, delicious atmosphere. We've been coming here sporadically for three years, and the quality has never failed us. Always excellent. The liver arrosticini are top notch!
