Despite being located so close to the Vatican, it didn't strike me as a tourist trap at all. The food was very good, the service attentive, and the ingredients high quality. I highly recommend the lasagna. I suggest arriving early to avoid long queues, as the place is small.

Had an amazing meal with exceptional service.
The facts about this restaurant are it is very small room for about a 18 covers. If full you do have to wait outside. They don’t rush their customers inside.
The waitress is extremely efficient covering the entire restaurant and the door.
It is a genuine small family run restaurant in the streets of Rome.
We had a cheese sharer to start very generous with the cheese followed by prawn linguine and octopus salad. All beautifully presented and tasted delicious. Desert we shared a frangipane with pistachio gelato.
Couldn’t recommend this place enough.
It’s a small family restaurant if you have to wait and that annoys you don’t come.

Without a doubt, the best restaurant we ate at in Rome. We tried two delicious pasta dishes (see photos). The pizza, lasagna, and desserts were also very good.
We would definitely go back in a heartbeat. The service was also excellent.

The food was really good and reasonably priced; it's almost hidden away despite being on a busy street (you have to call to get in). One drawback: they don't have coffee.

A small, secluded restaurant where we enjoyed delicious pasta dishes. You ring the bell to get in. Quite touristy but still authentic. A good wine list.

Absolutely divine. Super Fresh flavors and amazing sauce. Plan time ahead to wait outside because it is a small restaurant. The atmosphere is small and cozy.

A very homey restaurant, given the establishment's atmosphere. It's a small, friendly, and welcoming place. We ordered a local cheese board, which was good, and two very decent carbonara pasta dishes (not the best, but perfectly acceptable). The tiramisu was also good. The prices were average. We didn't have to queue, but those who came after us did, as the restaurant has only a few tables.
