Charming fun little bistrot close to St. Peter’s Basilica. We randomly happened to fall upon this place on a rainy early afternoon, you ring the door bell to enter. It was a perfect lunch! Highly recommend the lasagna (perffeto!) and the truffle Carpaccio was FANTASTICO!

This restaurant is for the traveler who doesn’t want a tourist trap. No pictures of food or fake flowers trying to allure tourists. Just delightful Roman cuisine and a charming, intimate atmosphere. Child-friendly if your kids can be chill and enjoy good food (we had 3 with us including a 6yr old with us).

Este pequeño restaurante con una puerta de incógnito resultó ser la mejor experiencia en todo nuestro viaje a Roma! Bien vale la pena los 30-40 minutos de espera fuera antes de que tuvieran espacio para nosotros. Teníamos bruschettas, carne y plato de queso, pasta carbonara, lasaña, pizza y una brocheta de pollo a la parrilla y ¡oh Dios mío todo estaba delicioso! ¡Tanta y tan buena comida! Esta semana fuimos a muchos buenos restaurantes, incluyendo 3 Michelins comenzados, pero todavía este era el favorito de todos ellos. 10 / 10 volvería a comer

Que des produits de qualité, les mêmes que dans les restaurants à touriste mais en mieux. Ne vous arrêtez pas à cette porte close vous pouvez rentrer sans crainte le meilleur reste à venir !

01/10/2025: I certainly repeat myself but I cannot help but say that as always everything was perfect, great professionalism, excellent products and fast service.
01/10/2025: A well-stocked grocery store, selling products from all over the world. It's the first place I think of when I ask myself, "Will I be able to find that dish/liquor I ate/drank on vacation in Rome?" This Castroni also has a wonderful section of Japanese items. Stop by and let yourself be inspired.

07/09/2025: Excellent restaurant in Pomezia, primarily seafood, but also featuring meat dishes. It's in no way inferior to other more renowned restaurants in Rome or Fiumicino, where you too often leave feeling like you've been ripped off. Here, you leave happy and satisfied: you have an excellent gastronomic experience, you're treated well, you're full, you pay a fair price (it's not even too expensive, considering how much you pay these days for a pizza and beer), and you're sure to return! I've been there before, about twenty years ago and again about eight years ago (after the restaurant's renovation), and I can confirm: absolutely recommended.
07/09/2025: Excellent elegant and very refined restaurant, all the dishes were exquisite.
