They are number 1!! I've been to several Brazilian restaurants around Italy but so far none at the level of Rio Grande in Florence. I've been there about twenty times and every time I've had a great time. For about 35 euros you can eat all you want. Very rich buffet!!! Of everything and more!! Fejoada, fried bananas, fried plantains, rice with raisins, the fantastic caramelized pumpkin, Russian salad, cheese sandwiches and many other things. Then the flag is raised and they start bringing out many cuts of meat with the famous picanha. Top drinks. Their capirinhas are exceptional. Also strong so be careful not to overdo it😅. The whole show is completed with dancers and a show with bolas. In short, a spectacle.

Owners Alberto and Mingo have brought Brazil to Florence! The quality of the meat is EXCELLENT and the staff is very friendly and professional!

Always a pleasure to return! Excellent food, a rich buffet with typical Brazilian dishes, real (and I mean real) churrasco with many types of meat cooked by professionals! The music and entertainment are always enjoyable! The staff are friendly and helpful! A top spot, definitely in the winter, but the tropical garden in the summer is a true Brazilian oasis! A 10 out of 10!

A refined and charming location with many Brazilian touches. Authentic staff and entertainment during dinner. Excellent quality food. I tried the all-you-can-eat option, giving me unlimited access to the buffet of hot and cold dishes, including salads and other traditional dishes like palm hearts and fried plantains. Meat is served at the table, unlimited. The meat is of excellent quality, flavorful, and tasty. The service is excellent, considering the speed with which the meat is cooked, but the drinks service isn't the fastest. Although you can eat as much as you want and well, the price is high; you won't be able to consume what you pay.

14/11/2025: The pappardelle with Chianina beef ragù was very good, as was the Croatian steak. The apricot tart was noteworthy, and the cantucci tiramisu deserves special mention. The prices are moderately high, but worth it. Ample parking outside. The place is spacious and the staff are very helpful.
