Friendly service, excellent dishes, all in a natural setting that will leave you speechless! The perfect refreshment after a nice walk. I recommend polenta and tapulone ☺️

Rifugio caratteristico e bel curato. Abbiamo mangiato ottimamente con buone porzioni. Il rifugio è situato in un posto incantevole. Una conca coronata da monti, ricchissima di fiori variopinti ed erba verdissima. Luogo che sa di storia millenaria: proprio questo centro abitato nasceva mille anni fa con l’arrivo delle popolazioni Walzer il cui passaggio è ancora oggi evidente! 1 ora di cammino a buon passo da Alagna… 500 metri di dislivello. Ma secondo il passo e l’allenamento si può salire con più calma. Consigliata la prenotazione. Oggi, ad esempio, c’era un certo affollamento, Polenta concia, salsicce, salumi e formaggi ottimi.

The place is surrounded by wonderful nature and framed by the glacier. The flavors are really good, the prices are not those of a refuge. 84 euros for 3 (including a child) without wine is a price I would expect for a restaurant, where the service is also more attentive; we celebrated a birthday and they didn't even offer to put a candle. On Grigna we would have eaten and drunk in 4.

Refuge located in an enchanting valley that can be reached with medium difficulty and good training, the particularly interesting mines variant is recommended, and then you are welcomed by extremely helpful and welcoming staff and a rich and tasty menu with XL portions, all at the right price. Absolutely recommended.

Fantastic place, immense in the greenery and tranquility, reachable only on foot. We hadn't booked but the staff kindly welcomed us and made us sit down. We had an appetizer and a polenta cuncia. Everything was delicious and the prices were good. Recommended both for their menu and for the peace of the place.

We went to Rifugio Tsar Senni for lunch with friends and it was a wonderful experience! We ordered a Polenta with Sausage and a Rösti with eggs and bacon – both dishes were delicious. The polenta was creamy and tasty, accompanied by a juicy sausage, a true mountain comfort food. The rösti was crispy just right, with the eggs perfectly cooked, a rich and satisfying dish. The staff was very kind and welcoming, creating a warm and familiar atmosphere. A perfect stop for those looking for good food and a moment of relaxation surrounded by nature. We will definitely be back!
