Wonderful place! The refuge can be reached by car. There is adjacent parking. The kitchen is open from 12:00 to approximately 2:00 PM, but throughout the day you can enjoy mixed platters and sandwiches, as well as local cakes, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Several trails start from there. For those who have a few hours, I recommend visiting the Acque Sparse lakes, just an hour from the refuge. They typically hold an opening party between the end of May and the first of June, and a closing party in October.
