I went for a walk in early August... lovely place and the refuge is very well kept. I found the prices good, I took 1/2 liters of water and I was amazed that at high altitude it is cheaper than in bars in some cities... I will gladly go back very soon!!!

Great location. We stayed with half board. Dinner and breakfast plentiful and very good. Very kind staff. Clean and renovated environments.

We signed at the restaurant. Delicious gnocchi and wurstel with fries. Friendly service. Great view and much welcomed relaxing break from the hike to the lake

Pretty mega location. It's a busy refuge in the day due to the day trippers - so we had to wait to check-in. Mixed service from staff, but overall fine. Room was small but also OK - 5 beds. Poor noise insulation from toilets though. You pay €6 for a warm shower if you want it. Limited charging plugs, and WiFi didn't work for us. Food was great - eggs and speck on the menu, and breakfast lovely with scrambled eggs (bad instant coffee). Cheap tasty red wine.

Mandatory stop on the excursion to the lake of the same name. Friendly hosts and excellent cuisine!!!

I ate at this refuge today for lunch. I don't even judge the location because it is stupendous, breathtaking. The food is on average good, nothing special, I've eaten better in other refuges especially due to the slightly high prices but on the other hand they let us in with the dog and that's no small feat.

Route suitable even for the less experienced and not dangerous, I recommend if you are not fit to arrive by cable car/chair lift and do the last km on foot

durante la nostra escursione al lago Coldai abbiamo avuto il piacere di fermarci a fare merenda in questo rifugio dove abbiamo gustato delle ottime patatine fritte accompagnate da un ottimo the. ottima anche la sua posizione estremamente panoramica con vista sul Pelmo, sul Civetta e sul lago di Alleghe (20 minuti di cammino più avanti).

Rifugio San Marco

12/11/2024: Beautiful refuge, a gem, managers available to satisfy all the needs of hikers, all dishes excellent, very attentive even for those with gluten intolerance problems. Well done everyone, 6 star rating for the cook and also for the daughter.
08/10/2024: Small refuge, which I define as from times gone by. Excellent location as a starting point for countless hiking and mountaineering tours. Excellent food and kind and friendly hosts.
