Passed by this place on the way to Vico del Gargano. Stopped for a coffee and something sweet. Very cozy place! No experience of the rooms, only the cafe. If you pass by, you have to stop! ☕️

We enjoyed tea on the terrace after a wonderful 15 km walk. The Refugio's dog spontaneously joined us for the whole day. It was so much fun.

Pleasant... an old forestry barracks renovated and transformed into a refuge for nature lovers within the Umbrian forest... near a small lake and many possible excursions to do... kind and helpful staff... highly recommended... thanks for the welcome!

We had lunch at this very nice place, with a very limited menu. The starters and main courses were nothing special. The prices were not commensurate with the quality.

Dining at Faustina's is an authentic experience, and above all, it reflects the wonderful land where her refuge is located. I've never used the B&B, but eating at the Sfilzi refuge is a habit I continue to enjoy year after year.

25/05/2025: A truly must book for hikers who are also enjoying great food (una cucina innovante e da qualità !!!). In the heart of the stunning wood "La Foresta Umbra" (as part of the Parco Nazionale del Gargano). Short, long, easy, challenging, ...: all trails are available for hiking. The hotel is not for a luxury journey, but is is absolutely correct & very clean. We enjoyed the exchanges on life, Italia & food with Zlata, Libero, Cosimo, Luca, Marco and all the other staff members!!! #EldaHotel #IdentitaGolose #Gambero_Rosso
