After a walk on Etna here is a good restaurant to try typical and local dishes: caponata, pasta alla norma, pasta with breadcrumbs, meatballs to try the delicious homemade macaroni. The desserts are also good. Good choice of dishes, good value for money. Kitchen open until 4pm. Courteous and professional staff. Fast. Private parking + a space in front in the woods. Everything perfect we will be back. Highly recommended

Excellent location for those who want to visit Etna, halfway between the state road and Piazzale Provenzana which is where you can arrive by car before climbing the volcano (on foot, with guides or with a 4x4 tour).
At the refuge you can also sleep or just have a meal, they have simple but good dishes. Very convenient parking next to and in front of the restaurant.

We stopped at this refuge just to get a coffee and some water. Unfortunately the POS was out of stock and we had to pay in cash. The coffee was good and the interior of the place was quite characteristic.

Accoglienza fantastica in una saletta riservata e tranquilla. Cibo semplice, genuino e molto gustoso. Raccomandiamo in particolare i maccheroni Ragabo ed i ravioli ai funghi, la grigliata e un' ottima insalata con arance e finocchi. Super anche la cassata al forno ed ottimo il vino locale. Conto equo e personale gentilissimo. 100 € in 4 dividendo alcune portate davvero abbondanti.

Locale conosciuto tramite internet posto a 5 km da Piano Provenzano,si mangia bene ed i prezzi sono moderati in base alla zona(7/10 euro per il 1',12/15 euro per il 2',2 euro coperto).
