The outdoor area is beautiful, and congratulations on the picnic tables. Nice selection of local beers. They were very kind, we'll definitely be back!
Update: We returned for lunch. The service was attentive and friendly, the interior is very welcoming, and we had a truly delicious meal! Malga gnocchi, a sweet dessert, and their own mountain pine grappa. Even the coffee is very good... for some reason, in my experience, a rarity in mountain huts. Congratulations!

I can't fully evaluate the refuge, as we only stopped for refreshments. But stars also go to its location, an enchanting spot in the heart of the Lessinia region, which deserves to be promoted and promoted. Leaving the car in Campofontana, you can pass by the cemetery and the Pagani district, birthplace of the venerable Sister Pura.

We were welcomed, along with our dog. We ate two first courses and a platter of cold cuts and cheeses. Everything was really good, including the desserts. The only flaw was the price of the liqueurs, which were a bit high for the quantity served (shots).

After an easy walk through the woods, we reached this beautiful refuge. A recently renovated house from 1754, it's very picturesque and characteristic, with exposed brick and windows with blue balconies. We had lunch during the 2:00 PM shift. The interior is very beautiful and welcoming, renovated while preserving its rustic style. The bathroom is also picturesque. We had the mountain gnocchi and fettuccine with dessert, both delicious. The staff was quick and friendly. The price was average. Highly recommended.

This review concerns the refuge's food, not the rooms and accommodations, which we didn't use:
The trail to the refuge is simple and suitable for families and children. We arrived from Campofontana, less than an hour's walk without any significant elevation changes, and you arrive at this beautiful and charming refuge, recently renovated.
The cuisine is varied and satisfying; the food is truly excellent, and the staff is courteous and very kind to their guests.
I really enjoyed the Gnocchi di Malga allo stravecchio (Malga Gnocchi with extra-aged cheese). We shared a second course, which, if I remember correctly, was carne salada (salted meat) and vegetables.
Next time I'll definitely try other dishes; they look really good and the portions are generous, offering excellent value.
The refuge's interior is truly beautiful and meticulously maintained. I highly recommend stopping here, as it's truly worth it.

Lunch with a 2:00 PM shift, excellent service, punctual, a varied menu with excellent and plentiful food. A special mention to Ms. Gioia for the always friendly and smiling service, despite the 12 of us sitting at the table waiting to be served!!!!
