Super beautiful place, but closed even though it appears open on Google Maps.

You can reach the refuge by car, if you want to eat it's better to book, easy paths full of history

An ideal destination for those looking to enjoy a relaxing day and for those who love walking. One of its strengths is its convenience: you can easily reach it by car or leave it in town and enjoy a pleasant walk. It's also perfect for those with children: there's a playground right in front of the building, and the food is simply delicious. Furthermore, the refuge is an excellent starting point for several trails, including the walk to the panoramic viewpoint: the view that opens up across Lake Idro is literally breathtaking.

If you're looking for a gargantuan meal, the Monte Stino refuge is the ideal place. The pizzoccheri are the best in the area, but the rest is also amazing. The service is hospitable.

A wonderful place with fair prices and generous portions. It may not be particularly large inside, but on a good day, the outdoor space is truly enjoyable. Traditional Alpine cuisine ranges from the Lombard tradition of pizzoccheri to the Austro-Hungarian goulash with polenta, finishing with strudel. A few steps from the refuge is a wonderful panoramic viewpoint overlooking Lake Idro, linked to the memory of the First World War.

Great location, easily accessible by car, bike, or on foot. Fast service and excellent food. Highly recommended!
