Rifugio Luigi Brasca In Novate mezzola

We stayed at Brasca for the weekend. We received a wonderful welcome from Mirco and Giuseppe, who were also incredibly helpful in the days leading up to our stay, providing us with all the information we needed to make our weekend in Val Codera unforgettable! Special mention for the gnocchi chiavennati! A pristine valley where time seems to have stood still.

Great team and super delicious food

Fantastic hospitality in an enchanting location. This is an alpine refuge; you can't expect hotel-like rooms, and the quality of the dormitories is adequate for the nature of the facility. The food is superb. Highly recommended, both as a destination in itself and as a base for various excursions of varying difficulty.

The Rifugio Brasca is always a guarantee. Every year I stop by to visit Mirko and his staff for lunch and always find delicious food and a warm welcome in a heavenly setting. It's a long journey to get there, but it's always worth it!

A charming refuge in the mountains. We arrived in the evening, and seeing it from afar with the lights on was magical. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. The food was delicious. I'm vegan, and I've eaten better here than in many big cities. A must-see if you're trekking in the area.
