The dishes were generous and delicious. We tried the mixed platter of appetizers, pasta with venison, pasta with porcini mushrooms, polenta, and cheeses. Absolutely everything was delicious! The homemade desserts were delicious. We complimented both the kitchen staff and the service. Everyone was very kind and friendly, especially the owner. The atmosphere was warm and spacious, with a beautiful view of the valley. Highly recommended!

Beautiful place in the middle of the mountains and greenery, very welcoming and hospitable and above all very relaxing, the food is truly excellent, I highly recommend it.

Jokingly, I'd say 70% quality, 70% flavor, 70% friendliness, 70% ambiance. A great place that earns its 280%. Jokes aside, quality, flavor, friendliness, and ambiance make this a place you'll want to return to again and again.

Returned after a year, the menu is still very good except for the bruscitt which are more of a meat sauce. However, it should be noted that there has been a considerable increase in prices, on average about 15%. Prices are a bit too high for the type of place, quite spartan. However, it is still recommended.

Cena del sabato sera con ottimo cibo (antipasti di salumi di selvaggina, polenta e brasato, polenta al forno con formaggi), personale gentile e attento, locale accogliente. Non era la prima volta e nemmeno l'ultima, ci torneremo sicuramente. Animali ammessi, accessibile in sedia a rotelle( non so la toilette in quanto non ne ho usufruito ).

05/07/2025: This restaurant is just amazing, set in a naturally cool cave, the environment is authentic and rustic. It’s a typically family-run restaurant yet with very high-level cooking skills by chef Francesco. Loved every dish, and you see the chef cooking in front of you in an open kitchen :) The service is attentive and people are genuinely nice. 😊
30/06/2025: We had an excellent dining experience at La Cantina in Alberobello! The food was absolutely delicious, prepared right in front of us, which added a special charm to the moment. The fresh ingredients and authentic flavors won us over from the first bite. A big plus was the chef – not only very skilled, but also extremely funny! He managed to create a relaxed and cheerful atmosphere, transforming the meal into a real experience. I highly recommend it to those visiting Alberobello and wanting to enjoy authentic local dishes, in an environment full of life and hospitality!

21/06/2025: We enjoyed our aperitifs here every evening – right on the lake with a view of Isola Bella – it couldn't be better. The atmosphere is cool, the Italian café is impeccable, and the spritzers are very good and generously mixed! A visit is especially recommended. Happy hour from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. – they offer a generous snack plate. We also had pizza, which was also very good! A clear recommendation; we were there every day and never regretted it! Best bar in Stresa!
