Oggi per la prima volta mi sono recato presso il rifugio dopo aver camminato per il sentiero che parte da forno di Coazze. Gran bella struttura , molto frequentata e devo dire ben organizzata . Personale gentilissimo e cortese ci hanno fatto subito accomodare anche se siamo arrivati un po’ in anticipo rispetto l’ora della prenotazione. Per quanto riguarda la parte cibo, non siamo rimasti particolarmente soddisfatti. Polenta dalla consistenza molto liquida e soprattutto la salsiccia e patate arrivate non calde . Conto in linea con quanto mangiato .

I just had lunch with my wife, son and friends. I had a tasty lunch, the polenta is the "real" polenta, tasty even without any seasoning, it has the right consistency: perfect! The sausage and tomato sauce also goes well, the caramelized onions are excellent and go very well with the polenta, in short we had a great time. The welcome and speed of service were also perfect.

Returned today for the umpteenth time to Fontana Mura with a friend who had never been there. We had a dessert and coffee, and then continued towards Colle della Roussa. On the way back from the hill, we also stopped for lunch, where the food is always a guarantee!! There was the manager who moved around the tables, the kitchen, the cash register and even found time to dry the floor... Yes, because a couple of diners thought it best to let their friend bathe in the Sangone dog weighing at least 50kg, before entering for lunch!! Congratulations to the manager for his patience and much disappointment for the rude owners!! The dog acted like a dog, he couldn't do anything about it... In fact, it's a good thing he didn't shake himself otherwise it would all have ended up on the plates and glasses. Note of merit for the dessert I had in the morning, which turned out to be the last slice of a fantastic apple and cinnamon tart which however remained in minimal portions, and without me saying anything, I was also directly served a slice of another delicious tart. Compliments!!

Super recommended! Great food and excellent service. My wife and I had lunch on a very busy Sunday and saw first-hand what it means to have style and professionalism. We were served by Sara (the welcoming person) who dealt with a thousand continuous requests of all kinds, always with a smile on her face and with great speed. Being vegetarians we requested a quick variation on the starter and we were extremely satisfied (it's not so obvious... And we appreciate it even more in a refuge where it is understandable that resources are more limited). Dishes prepared with care and attention. Excellent dishes, delicious cheeses, real and tasty polenta concia. And don't we want to talk about the divine raspberry and chocolate cake? It alone is worth the whole walk and I'm sure that the other desserts were also up to par, given previous experiences. Next time allyoucaneat for desserts 🤣. Always available and with good beer

Prima uscita di stagione, tempo ormai da settimane incerto, ma ci proviamo. Una morbida passeggiatona di 6 km a tratti impegnativa (per mancanza di allenamento!) ci porta al rifugio e qui troviamo un sacco di gente e tante cose buone da mangiare!!! Abbiamo optato per il menù e dopo un antipasto veramente vario e ricco abbiamo scelto di asssggiare polenta concia e fegato con cipolle. Tutto buono, ottimo e simpatico il servizio, qualità molto apprezzata del cibo e spesa assolutamente adeguata. Torneremo!!!! Una stellina per l’energia del “ricciolino” in sala: 10 e lode!!! Siamo rotolati giù fino a valle e tornati a casa soddisfatti!!! A presto Eleonora
