Rifugio Fontana Mura In Coazze

Very beautiful location reachable with a walk of a couple of hours or so, altitude difference for trained walkers. I have a note on the management of the refuge: if you do not consume their food, you are not allowed to sit down (not even if the tables are empty, I find it an inhospitable gesture) ... apart from their tables with umbrellas, there is no other place to sit down to eat a sandwich. Unfortunately not everyone can afford to spend 30 euros for a meal Advice? It would be nice to have a couple of tables outside the enclosure to allow everyone to stop to eat even with a symbolic cost of occupying the table or obligation to consume at the bar. The staff is kind but very strict in enforcing the spaces

The refuge can be reached after a 2-hour walk from the Pian Neiretto ski lifts. The first part of the trail is in the shade, then it all remains in the sun. Once you reach the refuge, there is a large place to lie down and admire the view or eat something directly at the refuge.

We went yesterday for lunch after a nice walk of about two hours. A truly beautiful place where you are welcomed by the kindness of the guys who take care of the service. There is the possibility of choosing between two menus, a smaller one and a larger one including appetizers (we took one menu of each type). The food was really delicious, polenta concia in the right portions and tasty! Fantastic desserts! We will be back

Second time I return by mountain bike. Always a beautiful route for those who love mountain biking. Very tiring, but getting to the top is truly spectacular Menu 18€ (a first course, dessert, water, coffee and service) A platter of cold cuts and cheeses Always excellent food, however! Climb, I repeat, very tough. I recommend ebike for those who are not very fit. But everything is well repaid by the excellent food and view!!! See you soon

Beautiful place, the managers are young and super kind

Good morning We were at this refuge yesterday, my husband and I, for lunch, unfortunately it was a day of uncertain weather and we didn't stay long. We really appreciated the smile and kindness of the girl who took the orders at the counter. We took a cutting board and a portion of anchovies in green sauce that we shared. Then we wanted to try a slice of cake.... and I must say that it was really good and special. It's worth coming up, as I've seen many do, just for the cake. The right portions for us who aren't super eaters and they were just enough to refuel!! Naturally the craft beers are good. I would recommend a little more maintenance on the wooden tables and chairs!!

I came yesterday by bike from Turin, I found people of rare kindness and helpfulness even though I arrived late. Highly recommended!
