I have been here more than 20 times, but I won’t be coming back anymore. The arrogance keeps growing, while everything else is declining. I used to enthusiastically recommend this place to others — not anymore. When you charge these prices, the whole experience matters. During my last visit, the turbot — a fish that is both expensive and deserving of respect — was literally torn apart and carelessly placed on the plate. It was served cold. Sadly, once a top destination, it now feels like a place you simply pass by.

Oddly amazing and high-quality fish. Very tasty dishes and coffee. Beware this place is quite pricy though

Raw fish and extraordinary seafood dishes at high altitude? Only here! My favorite refuge ❤️, a must-see during every mountain holiday. Also recommended for aperitifs.

I popped in here for a coffee, and my daughter preferred a hot chocolate with whipped cream. Both were excellent, but by far the most expensive of the holiday (I had coffee in several mountain huts for €1.70, €1.80, €1.90, €2.00, and here it was €2.50. The hot chocolate was also by far the most expensive at €6.50). That, plus the slow service, is the reason for the 3 stars.

The food is genuinely great, great atmosphere, however, service was simply poor for any establishment, let alone in a place that’s this expensive. We had to wave the waiter for pretty much everything, basic things that the waiter should have taken care of before customers ask for it. I’m sorry to say, but would wholeheartedly recommend as a great overall experience.

La Piazza Bistro

28/11/2025: I celebrated my birthday here. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great, and the staff was very warm and welcoming. I highly recommend this place. We really enjoyed it. And we highly recommend it.
