Rifugio In Massa

Posizione ottima, struttura molto accogliente, cibo ottimo, gestione impeccabile. Assolutamente da NON PERDERE, la prossima volta vorrei anche pernottare!!!

Excellent food and service. Unique views of the sea and the Apuan Alps.

We were only there for lunch, not to stay overnight. The food was excellent, and we were very well looked after. We felt very comfortable as a family. Thank you for the wonderful stay during our hiking trip.

Escaping the city heat, we "refuged ourselves in this refuge," and it was a delightful surprise. Besides the view from the terrace where we dined and the coolness afforded by the altitude, we ate very well. The menu is limited, but uses local ingredients and showcases their specialties. Last but not least, the excellent value is also a plus. Highly recommended.

Truly beautiful location, a building typical of 1970s architecture that shows little respect for the landscape, yet well hidden by the thick woods. Plenty of space for children and beautiful interiors (perhaps a little retro, but pleasant). They generally don't accept electronic payments, especially during storms. The proximity to the Massa Botanical Garden is strategic.

Such a lovely rifugio! Very clean and cosy with private rooms with electricity. Lots of hot showers and toilets. The food was fantastic and the staff really kind and helpful. The view is amazing too!
