A cafe we ​​visited on the last day of our trip. Wonderful, welcoming and close to the center! We had 2 coffees, 4 medium-sized croissants and a piece of pie. We paid 15 euros and were completely satisfied with what we tried. The gentleman who served us was very friendly and sweet!!! Definitely visit it

Very nice place for coffee, drinks. Unfriendly staff, passed us by 4 times and didn't even greet us. He brought us drinks without an accompanying snack while he went to other tables with similar orders.

Camminando per il centro di Matera, abbiamo scelto questo locale per la gentilezza del personale quando abbiamo chiesto se c’era posto,. Ci siamo seduti all’esterno siamo stati prontamente serviti. Cibo semplice locale ma molto molto buono e ben presentato. Ripeto il personale gentilissimo tutto molto pulito e sempre disponibili ad accontentarti. Continuate così bravi.

Super nice place to have an aperitif in Matera! My friends and I had an aperitif with spritzes, crostoni and platters of top cold cuts and cheeses. The guys who work there are super nice and made our day. So thank you Emanuele and Nico, we love you. Kisses from Lecce :)

Kappador la finestra sui Sassi

20/07/2025: It was an excellent lunch; we ate on the terrace, which has a beautiful view. The dishes were good, especially the peppered mussels and the first course (strascinati with sausage, Matera bread, and crusco peppers on a caciocavallo cream that was out of this world). The ingredients seemed high-quality. My only complaint: the service was a bit slow. Good value (also considering the very central location).
13/07/2025: I returned to Kappador after some time away, and I can say that the experience was even better than I remembered. We dined on the terrace with a view, in a truly enchanting atmosphere. Everything was impeccable: attentive service, carefully prepared and flavorful dishes, quality ingredients, and a presentation that demonstrates care and passion. I found a place that had grown, improved in every detail, without losing its distinctive authenticity. An evening with friends that turned into an experience to remember. Congratulations!
