02/05/2026: An unexpected and delightful family dinner in Sesto San Giovanni. Yes, because at Al Pomo d'Oro, you truly experience a family atmosphere: relaxed, simple, and without unnecessary frills. If you want to eat well in an informal setting, this is the place. Having made a reservation, I didn't have to wait to be seated; the reserved tables were waiting for us with personalized tickets in sight. The staff is welcoming and multiethnic, perfectly in keeping with the city's current social fabric. I was very impressed by their attentiveness to customers, discreet yet constant, always keeping a close eye on the tables and asking more than one question to make sure everything was to our liking. We chose pizza, and I must say it was a pleasant surprise. The idea of ​​having draft beer served in a chilled mug was excellent, chilled to the last sip, just as it should be 👍🏻 The pizza won me over especially for its dough: thin but soft, well-cooked, a balance not so common to find. We didn't try the desserts, but the coffee deserves a special mention. For me, it's the real "icing on the cake" of an Italian meal, and here it far exceeded expectations, which is far from a given.
