Retablo In Noto

A small, traditional Sicilian restaurant in the center of Noto. Very well-maintained, and the natural white stone interior is absolutely charming. We discovered it by chance, but were thrilled with the choice. The staff were knowledgeable and very friendly, including the owner, who was pleasant, friendly, and professional. The food was absolutely fantastic; the chef delighted us with every typical course, from the first to the second course, and finally with dessert, the DIY cannoli experience. The ricotta cream was unparalleled, and the composition was a fun game. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

The food was fantastic; the caponata with chocolate was truly delicious, as was the cinnamon-pork pasta! The service was very friendly and there was a special menu for children, including children's cutlery. We felt very welcome.

A very good restaurant serving local cuisine. It's a bit on the expensive side, but it's a treat. The restaurant is cozy and located in a side street, has a great ambiance, and we were served in German (very attentive staff).

We happened to eat there last night by chance. The restaurant owner even spoke German, which got us chatting a bit. Both the owner and the staff were super friendly and attentive. We felt completely at home. Of course, the menu might be a bit more expensive, BUT if you want good food, this is the place. I'm very picky when it comes to food, but I can say that our meal was a delight! So again: all the best to the restaurant and the team.

We’ve been in Sicily for 4 days and this was the best meal we’ve had. The pasta with ricotta & cinnamon and tomato pork sauce was delicious. My daughter had the tuna and she loved it. Desserts very delicious too. Owner very knowledgeable and super friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Una bella scoperta nella bellissima Noto....Ristorante molto curato e ben arredato...l'accoglienza e il servizio impeccabili e poi cosa dire dei sapori nei piatti,un vero viaggio sensoriale.....complimenti e sicuramente torneremo.......a presto

I've visited the Retablo restaurant several times now and have been delighted once again. It's a true culinary experience every time! The dishes are prepared with great attention to detail, authentically Sicilian, and delicious. I'd especially like to highlight the warm-hearted owner and her wonderful team; you can feel the passion they put into their work. The service is attentive, friendly, and creates a family atmosphere where you immediately feel at home. For me, one of the best restaurants! Die Speisen sind mit viel Liebe zum Detail zubereitet, authentisch sizilianisch und köstlich. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die herzliche Inhaberin und ihr großartiges Team ,man spürt, dass hier mit Leidenschaft gearbeitet wird. Der Service ist aufmerksam, freundlich und schafft eine familiäre Atmosphäre, in der man sich sofort wohlfühlt. Für mich eines der besten Restaurants!!
