The location is fabulous, it feels like you're dining inside the mountain. The menu is varied and refined, tradition and innovation combine perfectly. Attentive and punctual service, prices absolutely adequate for the offer. Definitely a place to return to!

Excellent food! We had the veal with a delicious pepper sauce and black rice. The combination tasted excellent!

The location impresses with its matching second name “Felsenkeller”. Beautiful cellar effect thanks to the rock relief walls. We liked the friendly welcome and we were served in a relaxed manner, unobtrusively, but after the food was served we were asked whether everything was okay before we had tasted the first forkful in our mouths. The portions are decent, too big. Instead of €14-15 for the starter, it is better to charge slightly smaller portions and only €9-10. There is a desire for good cuisine, but there was simply too much starter, main course and dessert. All dishes with the exception of meat/tartare were too intensely salted and seasoned, always a shade too much. The DDR taste was very good, but due to the over-seasoning, even the vegetables were too intense. This may not sound good to the chef, but if he is a bit self-critical, he will hear the praise and the criticism. Simply 10% less salt and reduce the portions to 75% including the price and it is one of the best cuisines in Merano. It was a lovely evening, but at €150 a good stone pine or gentian on the house will be remembered so that the guests will come back. Unfortunately, you don't really see the ones that only come once. We returned to this restaurant twice in three days, this already says a lot! We had the 3-course tasting menu, all exceptionally good! Furthermore, the lady's kindness was truly pleasant! The super welcoming environment. Superlative desserts!

Da quando ho conosciuto questo locale nell’agosto del 2021, vi ho fatto ritorno ogni qualvolta sono venuto in zona e, non posso che ribadire quanto avevo già scritto due anni fa, ovvero: “locale immeritatamente al primo posto in classifica dei ristoranti a Tirolo, perché meriterebbe il primo posto in tutto l’hinterland meranese”. SEMPLICEMENTE PERFETTO! Rispetto a quanto scritto nella precedente recensione aggiungo unicamente che il pane fatto da loro è una vera droga. Tuttavia, non posso prescindere dallo spendere nuovamente due parole sulla Signora bionda che si occupa della sala: “Persona garbata, professionale, attentissima ai clienti e dalla non comune efficienza nello svolgere il proprio lavoro!” Brava, davvero brava!!! Rapporto QUALITÀ/prezzo molto conveniente. Però se introduciamo anche altre variabili del tipo: “quantità” e “prezzi medi praticati in zona” il conto, a mio avviso, è a dir poco basso. Ribadisco, tenendo presente l’elevato standard qualitativo delle pietanze proposte. Da contributore esperto SUGGERISCO VIVAMENTE di andarci, non ve ne pentirete, anzi!

sul confine tra merano e tirolo, un piccolo ristorante quasi incastonato tra le case, con gradevole terrazzino all’ingresso e spazi interni confortevoli. l’accoglienza e il servizio sono accomodanti e il menù offre uno studiato percorso nel territorio, con ottimi abbinamenti, odori e sapori. il conto è corretto
