The food was delicious. The service was attentive, friendly, and very pleasant. We also liked the seating area in the passageway, which was cozy, inviting, and had a pleasant atmosphere. We felt at home and can recommend it.

This felt professional, and i mean the food and the service. The location ok, when its warm and you want to sit outside ... its in a hallway, can be windy, its not quiet. The inside was cozy but i understand everyone who doesnt want to sit there when it has 30+ celsius.
I had the forest pizza which was delicious, as was the pasta dish (dont remember wich one). Just a place where i'd love to come back!

We ate at Restaurant Gaston this evening, perfectly located in the arcades, yet away from the tourist crowds, and had a fantastic experience!
The pasta with clams was delicious; the clams were perfectly cooked, and the pasta was al dente.
The pizza was also a highlight; the dough was crispy and the ingredients were fresh and of high quality. It was the best pizza in Merano!
The service was very friendly and warm, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. We felt very comfortable and are already looking forward to returning and trying more dishes.

Years ago, there was a restaurant here under the same name, offering a variety of excellent quality food in a great atmosphere.
The current owner and team are very nice. But the former good variety of food has been abandoned. What a pity.
Now it's a pizzeria that serves good pizza 🍕.

We visited Pizzeria Gaston for the first time today. It was super warm inside – definitely recommend trying to get a table outside in the arcade. The food was okay and plentiful…the value for money could be improved…unfortunately, both the cutlery and plates weren't clean.

We ate at Restaurant Gaston two evenings in a row during our visit to Merano. Both the pizza and the pasta dishes were delicious. The prices were also absolutely reasonable (good value for money). The service was also extremely friendly and attentive. I highly recommend it!

Een vast adres voor goede pizza aan de Lauben in Meran. Dus vandaag maar weer eens terug gegaan en geen spijt van gekregen. Zoals altijd heerlijke pizza voor nette prijzen. Snelle service en vriendelijke bediening. We gaan zeker weer terug. Aanrader!!!
