BE CAREFUL OF REVIEWS! This restaurant deserves these 5 stars. The pizzas were exceptional, as well as the pasta carbonara. A restaurant run by a more than friendly family, the mama in the kitchen and the grandfather in the pizza. What more could you ask for? A godsend in this seaside resort, or besides the Brazilian restaurant, the other restaurants are tourist traps. I recommend 100%.

We had wonderful food at Mario & Maria’s. Service was excellent and everything was fresh and delicious. Family owned. Fresh salad, steak came with potatoes and my husband loved his seafood dishes.

We loved this place!!! Went there three times while on a week's holiday. Food was top shelf!! Both is flavor and quantity. The waiters were more of a comic relief but also really good and attentive to our needs. We enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant itself as oppose to the patio which was on the sidewalk. Buts that's us. Two main dishes, a glass of wine each, a bottle of water and each having a dessert would come to 49.00 to 52.00..euros. We would highly recommend this restaurant to all!!

Amable y acogedor, nos prometieron que María era una cocinera increíble cuando entramos! Servicio rápido. La comida era media pero lo suficientemente sabrosa.

Lovely authentic Italian family run restaurant in middle of town. We had veal then limone delicious dessert to finish. Everything was perfect and best meal we've had in Maiori.

¡Buena comida! Pasta de champiñones y carbonara con una delicia de limón y tiramisú. Fue tan sabroso. Lugar muy frío, sin venta difícil. Muy relajado.

12/08/2024: L ambiente è piccolo ma gradevole e ben organizzato. La pizza è buona e i fritti ottimi. Sconsiglio la gluten free perché l impasto l ho trovato troppo pesante per i miei gusti. Consigliato per una clientela non troppo sofisticata e pretenziosa.

01/10/2024: Great place. English is no problem here. Our servers were fluent. I also heard other languages spoken. Italian has been tough for us but it was not an issue in this place. I had the bruschetta which was like antipasto on a great baguette toast. Also the chips are like kettle chips we have at home. They're potatoes, spirally, cut and fried to a very crisp and clean consistency. I did have the Cabernet Franc wine which was not a disappointment. I highly recommend the place. We will definitely be back
