A perfect dinner in Maiori! This family-run restaurant was recommended to us by our friend Nino, a grocer running a deli down the street. Perfect, home-made pasta & fresh seafood! And, of course, tiramisu to finish it off!! We loved Mario e Maria & we will be back!

We came for lunch. We had lasagna, spaghetti bolognese, and anchovy marinara. The anchovies were especially delicious, and the other dishes were above average. The restaurant is family-run: Mario and Maria. Their son is the waiter, Maria the cook, and Mario serves as both a waiter and a waiter. We loved Mario; the whole family makes the place special.

the best restaurant in Maiori, we have been there many times and every time it was the best food, specially pasta.. the best tiramisu ever.. and also prize is perfect… Recomend 100times..😜

18/10/2025: The location is beautiful (sea view, in a shaded garden) and the food was delicious. The prices are moderately high, but you can taste the quality and spend it happily. We didn't have any problems with waiting (as I read in other reviews), but it must be said that we ate very late, in a nearly empty restaurant. The staff was very friendly, and the overall experience was truly enjoyable. It's a shame to read so many negative reviews because it's a lovely place, with authentic cuisine (fresh and beautifully cooked fish, including fried fish that was nice and dry). You pay for the view (and the fame of Castellabate).
