BE CAREFUL OF REVIEWS! This restaurant deserves these 5 stars. The pizzas were exceptional, as well as the pasta carbonara. A restaurant run by a more than friendly family, the mama in the kitchen and the grandfather in the pizza. What more could you ask for? A godsend in this seaside resort, or besides the Brazilian restaurant, the other restaurants are tourist traps. I recommend 100%.

We had wonderful food at Mario & Maria’s. Service was excellent and everything was fresh and delicious. Family owned. Fresh salad, steak came with potatoes and my husband loved his seafood dishes.

We loved this place!!! Went there three times while on a week's holiday. Food was top shelf!! Both is flavor and quantity. The waiters were more of a comic relief but also really good and attentive to our needs. We enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant itself as oppose to the patio which was on the sidewalk. Buts that's us. Two main dishes, a glass of wine each, a bottle of water and each having a dessert would come to 49.00 to 52.00..euros. We would highly recommend this restaurant to all!!

Lovely authentic Italian family run restaurant in middle of town. We had veal then limone delicious dessert to finish. Everything was perfect and best meal we've had in Maiori.

I'm really surprised to read negative reviews about this restaurant, it almost seems like they are driven by the competition. My experience was excellent! The seafood was very fresh, the pizza delicious, and the bread crunchy and freshly baked. The service was quick and efficient. A place I recommend without a doubt!

Food was lovely. Very relaxed. We had the mushroom pasta and the carbonara.
The Tiramisu and Lemon delight to top it off was soo good.

¡Buena comida! Pasta de champiñones y carbonara con una delicia de limón y tiramisú. Fue tan sabroso. Lugar muy frío, sin venta difícil. Muy relajado.
