Excellent inn in the nature of the town of the same name in the Bolognese hills. Quiet hotel, excellent cuisine and beautiful classic-style rooms. Breakfast was decent. Nice managers.

I had dinner at this restaurant on Saturday 04/26/2025. There were 6 of us, welcoming atmosphere and excellent food. Of all of them, I'll only mention two dishes: super pappardelle, both as a pasta and as a condiment, and then wild boar like I've never eaten (not the usual overcooked stew to remove the gamey flavour/smell). Thanks also to our waitress who made us feel at home, as well as recommending an excellent Merlot from Valsamoggia! I highly recommend it, a place outside the city and with all the advantages of a place outside the city, indeed!

We booked at the last minute due to an unexpected event during our multi-day bike trip. The managers of the inn were very kind and flexible. We arrived late and were alone and despite this the owner opened the kitchen and allowed us to dine in their restaurant. Excellent local cuisine, not high and honest prices. Basic room, very clean and perfect for an inn. Heated spaces and structure furnished with refined taste in keeping with the territory. Nearby there are cellars where you can taste local wine. We will definitely return to this beautiful area of ​​the Bolognese hills. We highly recommend it for those looking for intimacy, friendliness, like feeling at home!

Location 7, decent food, dimly lit in the evening, prices around 40 euros per person! Cover charge 3 euros per person!

Ho avuto il piacere di cenare e pernottare presso "La tagliolina”, un ristorante e locanda che si è rivelato una vera perla nascosta. Situato in un angolo tranquillo e suggestivo, il locale riesce a coniugare alla perfezione il calore dell'ospitalità con la raffinatezza della cucina tradizionale. Ambiente: Il ristorante è accogliente, arredato con gusto e in perfetta armonia con il paesaggio circostante. Le luci soffuse e l'atmosfera rustica ma elegante creano un ambiente ideale per una cena romantica o una serata tra amici. La locanda, poi, è perfetta per chi desidera prolungare l'esperienza e godersi un soggiorno immerso nella tranquillità. Cucina: Il menu è un viaggio culinario che celebra la tradizione locale. Ogni piatto è preparato con ingredienti freschi e di alta qualità. Personalmente, ho apprezzato molto le pappardelle con ragù di cervo; un'esplosione di sapori che mi ha conquistato al primo morso. Anche i dolci sono straordinari. Locanda: Le camere della locanda sono semplici e molto comode. offrono una vista spettacolare sulla campagna circostante, garantendo un soggiorno rilassante. La colazione, inclusa nel soggiorno è composta da prodotti freschi e genuini che rendono l’inizio della giornata un vero piacere. Conclusione: Se siete in cerca di un'esperienza culinaria indimenticabile e di un soggiorno in un luogo che sa come farsi ricordare, "La tagliolina” è il posto che fa per voi. Perfetto per ogni occasione, che sia una cena speciale o una fuga romantica. Tornerò sicuramente!

A delightful discovery. A friend recommended this fantastic place in the Bolognese hills of Valsamoggia. Typical place, typical road to take to reach the location. Typical local location, surrounded by greenery with enough parking for customers. Hospitality and kindness are part of this restaurant. Clear and direct menu. Right portions and right prices. Typical and super good dishes. Recommended and will return.

La Tagliolina is an inn located in Monteveglio, known for its Emilian cuisine and welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant stands out for its characteristic setting, embellished by a rustic fireplace that creates a warm and familiar atmosphere.  I did not stay. My review refers to a family lunch. Good quality of the dishes. In particular, the tagliolini with porcini mushrooms turned out to be very delicate but tasty. The portions were abundant, ensuring an excellent quality-price ratio. However, I found a rather long wait, even just for the appetizers, and the waiting staff did not appear to be fully prepared. Furthermore, the bathroom did not have a changing table for children; fortunately, we were allowed to use a support table for the needs of the 5-month-old baby who was with us. In conclusion, La Tagliolina offers a satisfying culinary experience in an authentic environment. Despite some small flaws in the service and timing, the quality of the dishes and the welcoming atmosphere make this tavern worthwhile.

I speak for the restaurant. Cozy and homely atmosphere. Every dish was excellent: pumpkin tortelloni with sausages, braised meat with mashed potatoes, tagliatelle with meat sauce, tagliolini with porcini mushrooms, chocolate cake. Efficient and friendly service. In the countryside.
