Restaurant Il Flamingo In Gallicano

14/04/2025: Antica Drogheria is a charming, traditional restaurant located on the eastern side of Lucca, just a 10-minute walk from the city center. It offers a menu of classic local dishes (though not extensive), a good variety of pizzas, and an impressive, well-curated wine list. Booking a table in advance is recommended, as it tends to fill up quickly. We had pizza, which was exceptionally good, and special requests were handled without any issues. A highlight was the unique vegetable-based dessert—a traditional specialty that I highly recommend trying. Prices are very reasonable, making this a great value. I warmly recommend a visit! The waiters speak reasonably good English. Service was not superfast, but the restaurant had lotd of customers, so it was understandable.
