Restaurant Hoamat & Hotel Des Alpes In Stelvio

I visited Hoamat last Friday and tried their "all you can eat Knödel" event – where you get to try a variety of savory and sweet knödel. It was a wonderful experience for anyone who loves trying new things. The food was truly excellent, and the service was impeccable, with very helpful and friendly staff. The restaurant is beautifully designed with attention to every detail, offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I'll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu! P.S. Another bonus for me as an Italian: the coffee. Since living outside Italy, it's always difficult to find good coffee, and this one pleasantly surprised me.

Hoamat is simply a wonderful place to feel at home. Beautiful location, cozy ambiance, and an atmosphere that instantly slows you down. You can feel the attention to detail and genuine hospitality everywhere you go. Perfect for escaping everyday life and enjoying nature. We felt completely at ease and will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

Yesterday we went to the annual dumpling festival at Hoamat. The homemade dumplings were incredibly delicious. The classic dumplings, like bacon dumplings, crackling dumplings, and spinach dumplings, were especially fantastic. The sweet dumplings were also superb, particularly the homemade nougat dumplings. The young, efficient waitresses were also top-notch. Congratulations to Hoamat! With staff like this, other restaurateurs in the area can only be envious. We'll be back very soon.

In my opinion, it was too expensive. There are far more upscale restaurants for the same price. But the food was good.

We've been to HOAMAT many times and have always enjoyed top-notch service and exceptionally friendly service. Whether it's a quick business lunch, a family meal, or our Christmas parties – it's always been a delightful experience for everyone! HOAMAT is also highly recommended for its large summer events. All in all, simply TOP-NOTCH!

Mmmmmhhhhhhh, simply delicious food

The Hoamat is a beautiful inn in a fantastic location, and on a previous visit, I gave it a 5-star rating. However, the day before yesterday, we had the "Knödelroas with Beer Tasting" event, and if, like most of our group of six, you were there for the first time, that's not advertising and gives no reason to come back. Firstly, we had reserved a table for six and ended up sitting very, very close together with six other guests. When we complained, the waitress told us it was always like that, but then said she would try to find a solution. The manager replied, "Then we wouldn't be allowed to come to an event like that." Secondly, you had to wait in line for at least 15 minutes for the dumpling buffet. This could certainly be solved better by setting up two buffet rows. We had the impression that they were cramming as many people as possible into the restaurant to maximize profit. Whether this is a long-term benefit is another question.
