Excellent experience We had dinner yesterday at this restaurant recommended by Sienese friends, and we were really impressed! It is clear that this is not a tourist restaurant, but a place frequented by locals, which in itself is an excellent guarantee of quality. I chose the chicken neck, a rare dish to find but truly exquisite and rich in flavour. My husband had the guinea fowl tortelli, an equally tasty dish. Then we shared a Florentine which was simply spectacular!!!! Excellent quality meat and perfect cooking. We will definitely be back!

Old Florentine restaurant with old-fashioned decor and the frames of all the famous guests who have passed through the place. Very good grilled meat. Small downside for the potato accompaniment.

Tonight I went out for dinner again after a long time and I did it with a friend of mine. What a beautiful evening! The waiters were super kind and welcoming, we felt at home. I had an egg cloud with truffle that was something crazy, really delicious! Then the lilies with pecorino cream, bacon and pistachios... the bomb! And to finish a coconut mousse that was a real delight. In short, a dinner with honors, I will definitely go back!

Historic place with a unique charm. Excellent tartare, superior Florentine steak, quick and courteous service. The lady who welcomed us was extremely kind. Always a pleasant experience. Highly recommended!

Last night I discovered a truly excellent restaurant! The food is excellent, the staff is kind and welcoming. I started with a Tuscan appetizer with authentic flavors, with high quality cured meats, and continued with the pici with the scent of the garden, simply delicious. A very pleasant experience that I recommend to everyone! I will definitely be back!

On Saturday evening I had organized dinner with my colleagues in this restaurant and we had a really good time!!! We chose a fixed menu and each course was a real discovery. The appetizer, an egg cloud with cream cheese and truffle, was delicate and tasty. The tagliatelle with ossobuco ragù won us over, creamy and perfectly balanced. The guinea fowl roll was tasty and well cooked, and the tiramisu light and super delicious. Very kind service, the restaurant is beautiful and characteristic.... a great evening... we will gladly return!

Last night I had dinner here with some friends... as always, a guarantee! I tried the pasta with turnip tops and dried tomatoes, truly delicious, and the tagliatelle, very tender and cooked to perfection. The service is always very friendly and efficient and the place is really nice, warm and welcoming... Highly recommended!

We went to this restaurant with friends on Sunday for lunch. Our experience did not fully satisfy us, decent appetizers but the first course I chose, macaroni with dried tomatoes and broccoli, disappointed me The pasta arrived on the plate all broken and drowned in a little too much oil. The dessert was good but my coffee and dark chocolate semifreddo was only coffee-based, the chocolate was only present as a decoration of the dish.

06/05/2025: I went to dinner with my wife in this wonderful location, but unfortunately the extremely slow service made the food go awry. Is it possible to serve only two dishes (starter and first course) in 2 hours and 10 minutes? Yes, it is possible, and in the end we also had to give up the dessert (ordered and never arrived after 35 minutes of further and vain waiting) given the extreme slowness with which the dishes arrived to all the diners present. The waiters were kind all things considered but when it came to the bill we would have expected at least an apology, given the annoyance expressed at not having been able to enjoy the dessert. You are in Pienza in a fairytale location, you cannot offer such a poor service. Ah, the food is still good, but it makes you want to comment on it only at the last minute given the dripping that this restaurant subjects you to.

02/03/2025: In uno splendido casale ristrutturato il ristorante ti accoglie in una location elegante e molto piacevole . I tavoli apparecchiati con gusto con piccole attenzioni ai particolari . Menu’ con un offerta classica senza fronzoli non troppo ampia e, a mio avviso , ne guadagna la qualità . I primi piatti sono molto buoni e la materia prima eccellente . Le carni sia di cinta senese , sia di agnello o di manzo mi hanno sorpreso per la cottura precisa , con un equilibrio di sapori e spezie che in un agriturismo non trovi quasi mai . Discreta la carta dei vini che però manca di alcune tipologie nelle bollicine e nei rossi extra Toscana . Servizio impeccabile . Attento e spontaneo . Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo
13/01/2025: Imperativo tassativo: rispetto della tradizione, dei prodotti del territorio e del Km zero. Genuinità della materia prima, sapori e profumi di una cucina di una volta, gusti che solo i nostri nonni sapevano regalarci...questo è Ischieto. Ambiente accogliente, staff di cucina e di sala professionali, attenti e discreti. Una sosta obbligata ed obbligatoria nelle Crete Senesi. Bravi e Complimenti.
