For me, the most beautiful restaurant in Brixen. The service was perfect, we drank wonderful wines, and the menu was sophisticated. Unfortunately, the portions, for example in the four-course menu, were too small; you don't necessarily feel full. It's a shame they no longer focus on classic South Tyrolean cuisine but have followed current trends. The dishes were very good, but you should definitely feel satisfied for 80 to 100 euros.
Overall, though, a great experience.

A very expensive restaurant with outdated decor. The waiter was very friendly and professional. They had a great wine list with exquisite wines.
Due to the poor value for money, we wouldn't return.

A typical restaurant in the center of Bressanone/Brixen, it's certainly not a place I'd recommend to a quick visit.
You have to be prepared to dig deep into your wallet, and in this case, it's worth it.
I found excellent South Tyrolean recipes revisited to the point of local culinary transgression, but it was worth it. I was greeted very attentively and politely, and the expert and knowledgeable staff guided me through the menu. The same goes for the wine pairing.
I repeat, the bill is relatively "hefty," but once you leave this place, you'll feel like you're on a high. 😂

We wanted a quick bite to eat for lunch and discovered the Finsterwirt restaurant. It's located on the first floor with a beautiful terrace overgrown with Virginia creeper, allowing you to sit in the shade as well as comfortably. The atmosphere is wonderful and the location is beautiful.
We ordered the spaghetti with octopus from the lunch menu. It was an absolute delight, as was the dessert. The service from the staff was excellent. Always present, but never intrusive.
If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely eat there again.

Alles in allem war es ein netter kulinarischer Abend zu Dritt. Wir haben fein gegessen, die Teigwaren waren al dente, das Fleisch sehr zart, das Dessert delikat und die Weine passten. Uns gefiel die Sommerterrasse sehr gut, obwohl die Tische etwas eng zusammenstanden und so fast jeder mithören konnte, worüber man sprach. Der Sommelier hat uns gut beraten, der Service war professionell, trotzdem waren wir nicht restlos begeistert vom Abend, wie wir es in anderen Sternelokalen erlebten, aber wir können nicht erklären weshalb. Feine Küche. Preise hoch aber angemessen für das Angebot.
