Went there for lunch, the reception was very friendly and the table was assigned to us. The menu leaves nothing to be desired both visually and in terms of content. The service staff was always present without being intrusive. The food afterwards was just a dream. The drinks served with it were also very good. This amount was also more than fair when it came to the bill. A huge compliment to the entire team. Greetings to the Finsterwirt team.

Very pleasant place, excellent service, great relaxation. Regarding food, I'm not a professional but, in my opinion, sometimes the cuisine improves if you remove something, rather than adding ingredients that alter the main flavours. Fillet with truffle: good but too many sauces and cabbage, too many flavors together.
Panna cotta with mango: what does chocolate have to do with it?

Very friendly service. The food was really tasty and there was enough of it. A nice old building with atmosphere. A place worth visiting.

Very nice place, good and well made dishes! It's a shame about the behavior, we had a problem with the car, arriving at 8.48pm (subject to telephone notification). We were told that the kitchen closes at 9.00 pm, we were served accordingly in an all-you-can-eat style, but the thing that bothered us the most was the pressure from the dining room staff in taking the order and at the end of dinner getting out of the room. haste and fury, treatment certainly not at the level of the restaurant which I repeat is very beautiful and with excellent cuisine. A leap back in time, into the heart of tradition. The Dark Innkeeper has an intriguing name and an entrance that makes you want to discover it. On the first floor an ancient room with boiseries from times gone by. Tasteful mise en place with fresh flowers. Dishes that live up to their fame. I tasted a Sylvaner wine soup which I really enjoyed (so much so that the next day I went to see Novacells Abbey where the wine came from). As a second course, a very tender and tasty braised meat with polenta. A perfect dish. Everything served and explained with courtesy and professionalism.

Locale eccellente nel centro di Bressanone. Il servizio è molto cortese e i piatti della tradizione sono di qualità eccellente. Ottima carta dei vini e prezzi onesti.
