Restaurant Da Rosa In Macerata

The food quality is good, the portions are just right, a bit more like a restaurant than a trattoria. It's a shame that when you get the bill, the prices on the receipt are higher than those on the menu. We were charged more for our appetizer, two first courses, and a second course; it would be more appropriate to update the menu.

We ate at this restaurant for lunch. Everything was wonderfully good, excellent ingredients, the delicate and tasty artichoke tart, the vincisgrassi!! A delight 🤪. We will gladly return, thank you 🤩

Excellent menu! Everything was delicious! The service from Andrea and her colleague is outstanding! Don't miss it if you go to Macerata! The best restaurant in the region!

The service was truly excellent, and the price, not low but not too high either, I think is fair given all they offer. While you wait, in addition to the many delicious types of bread (which is included in the €3 cover charge as per the menu), they bring—I'm not sure if this happens all the time or varies from day to day—small portions of "gourmet" dishes for you to try; truly delicious, in our case featuring fresh truffles. Paradoxically, personally, I found this tasting much better than the Vincisgrassi, which tasted way too cheesy. Overall, however, I can't say the food isn't good; the quality is clearly excellent. The atmosphere is truly welcoming but a little cramped, but that's okay. It's almost a hidden gem, and many people who aren't from Macerata probably miss it since it's not right in the city center. Despite this, I hope everyone comes to try it at least once.

We're just finishing our meal, and I couldn't leave a super-positive review. The food is incredibly good and high-quality. The fried egg is delicious 🤩 What a great find! We'll definitely be back.

I'd like to start 2026 with this delightful review! I've been to Da Rosa twice, before and after Christmas, and everything was perfect. The staff is friendly and quick with service, and the food, typical of Marche cuisine, is delicious. I also recommend it for small groups because they have a small room that seats 15-16. PS: With the bread basket, they were already a winner from the start 😋

Nice, well-kept, and clean place. Very good food. We enjoyed suckling pig with caramelized onions, which was very tender despite the rather small portion (the next table had the same dish, much more generous), and veal rack with chicory. I didn't like the waiter's attitude: brusque, cold, and unsmiling, he took our order without ever making eye contact. The waiter next to us, however, because he knew the locals, was very kind, attentive, and very welcoming. These attitudes are noticeable. Prices are medium to high.
