We had a fantastic time at this beautiful boutique hotel near Siena. The staff were absolutely amazing - incredibly friendly, helpful and always accommodating. They gave us excellent support in planning our leisure activities and were always open to our wishes. Thanks here to Cristina. A special highlight was the cooking class with Mario, which was simply great. We took home great recipes that will remind us of this wonderful stay for a long time. Thanks to Francesco for the translation. The location of the hotel is perfect, and our room and the pool were simply fantastic. We can highly recommend this hotel and would be happy to come back

If you want a meal in exceptional surrounding this is the place to go. It is fantastic. We opted for the blind menu which was 50 euros each so not cheap. There were pizzas on the menu for about 25 euros so not a cheap night. Our starters were veal carpaccio followed by a lovely pasta dish and then a sweet. I didn’t want a sweet so they gave me a nice cheese board instead. We opted for paired wines which was an additional 28 euros per person but the wine was good. In addition to our main course we had lovely bread with olive oil and a nice mousse Boucher. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and helpful. The service was excellent. It was a very special night out.

Where do I start? I really want to come back and stay for ever. The staff is amazing, we asked them about recommendations and help with planning our days and they made everything so so easy. The surroundings are breathtaking and you have everything you need within a 15minute car ride. You wake up to the sound of birds and the views are stunning from the Hotel! The hotel restaurant is a must, the food and the service is outstanding. Breakfast is also amazing, a big variety of things out but you can also order some more stuff. There is a beautiful pool but the weather wasn't on our side while we were there so we couldn't enjoy it. I am definitely coming back soon!

I would stay to live! We knew the location would be beautiful, but when we arrived we were delighted. It is a secluded place, extremely quiet, every detail has been taken care of to the extreme, an exquisite aroma throughout the hotel, spacious rooms and super comfortable beds. I don't know if it was peace, but we slept like babies. The breakfast was simple but nothing was missing. The attention of the entire staff was 10 and we fell in love with the two golden retrievers (Mallory and Isota). I will return for sure.

Easter weekend. The best place to stay if you want to visit Siena /Val d'Orcia/ and various villages in the area. The guys are helpful and friendly, professional staff and perfect location. There are also board games available in the relaxation room which gave us the opportunity to enjoy ourselves and not get bored on a rainy afternoon. A hydromassage tub is available as a plus service, to be booked, it's worth it. We decided to have dinner in the hotel's restaurant and we really enjoyed it. Super breakfast, really friendly and helpful staff. We will definitely be back!! Thank you guys!

We spent a long WE with family and a group of friends. Listing all the positive points of Le Macine would be too long and in any case would not do justice to the place and the dedication and care that the owners and staff put into their work every day. In short, you have to go there and see for yourself. Among other things, if you want to visit the surroundings, the staff will be able to advise you and organize trips to the classic and/or lesser-known places in the surrounding area. - Welcome: we arrived after dinner and the concierge personally came out to welcome us, invite us in, complete the check-in procedures and show us the hotel and the room. Customer care is something that is in the DNA of all staff. - Attention to detail: the entire hotel is perfectly looked after, right down to the most hidden corners - Food: the Chef will delight you with his dishes even if it is reductive to define them simply as dishes. - Sommelier: The Sommelier will be able to answer all your questions and advise you on the best pairings with the numerous labels in the cellar. - The location: Le Macine has been completely renovated recently (for example, swimming pool, hydromassage, sauna in a private corner of the garden) and there are still new things to come but you will have to discover these for yourself. In short, if you want to spend a relaxing time and feel truly pampered while immersed in nature... go there.

The risk is to seem exaggerated in the compliments, but this relais, immersed in the Tuscan countryside, is a truly incredible, almost magical place. The staff, very kind and professional, welcomed us with a smile, making us feel at ease and then providing all the useful information to orient ourselves. The elegant stone building is coherent and harmonious with everything that surrounds it: the olive trees, the Stigliano castle, the quiet of the hills. Gourmet dinner with fine wines. Delicious and genuine breakfast. All seasoned with the use of products from the farmhouse itself and the territory. Within a few kilometers in any direction, you encounter a universe of art, of medieval villages, Siena. The impression is of being in a time machine that transports a millennium into the past. In short, a place to return to at the first possible opportunity and, if it wasn't clear, what I recommend. Thank you.

Stunning relais, very well looked after and located in a strategic position from where it is possible to quickly reach many points of interest: Siena and its surroundings. Heartfelt thanks to Elisa and Margherita who were super welcoming and available to satisfy our every need. Very clean rooms, delightfully furnished, and with a really comfortable bed. Special mention for the excellent dinner with revisited Tuscan specialties and the rich sweet/savory buffet for breakfast. Perfect location to relax, surrounded by greenery and away from traffic. We will definitely be back to try the swimming pool and the new wellness area.
