A wonderful restaurant in a historic building formerly belonging to the Chigi family. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable. You can dine next to a beautiful old fireplace. The establishment also offers overnight accommodations. I've personally only been inside in the winter, but the outdoor area also offers a beautiful garden. The food is truly excellent, offering both meat and fish dishes. I highly recommend it.

An environment that accommodates many people but distributed in many rooms so that it is pleasant and not confusing.

Excellent food, well executed. No plating, which detracts from the value of the dish. The place is noisy, but above all, the staff lack empathy and smiles are not a given. Prices are fair.

Beautiful place where you eat very well

I attended a ceremony for a seafood-themed dinner. For my tastes, the dishes were excellent; the quality and skill of the cooking were evident even before tasting. The location is enchanting, steeped in history, and it was fascinating to admire the care with which the restaurant has been maintained, projected into the next 1,000 years! The price isn't cheap; after all, high-quality food and cuisine, an extraordinary location, and impeccable service are hard to match with "allyoucaneat" menus.

Walter & Ilaria's Wedding on September 27, 2025 We celebrated our wedding in this wonderful location, where lush greenery framed the historic residence (1463). The reception was flawless. We're receiving countless compliments from our guests, who were delighted with both the location and the excellent food. We'd especially like to thank Ida, who, as a true professional and hostess, made our day unique. Thanks also to the staff, who were meticulous, polite, and respectful of all our guests. Ho scelto questo ristorante per celebrare il mio 70mo compleanno con la nostra grande famiglia. Sabato 14 giugno di sera. Un vero successo, decretato da mia moglie, i miei 40 convitati e, ovvio, da me. Tutto organizzato alla perfezione, a bordo piscina, in un ambiente che è degna cornice ad un evento che, accade una sola volta....Gentilissimi nel soddisfare le nostre richieste. Ottimo il servizio, molto attento. Passiamo alla cena: ha fattos eguito ad un benvenuto ed aperitivo molto sostenuto. La cena di per sè è stata ottima. Ripeto: non oslo nei miei giudizi, visto che continuo a ricevre complimenti. Ottimi vini e il dolce praticamente assemblato in real time. Poi, un accompagnamento musicale soft, con musica per ballare stile anni '70 a seguire. Siamo soddisfattissimi. Nel frattempo del nostro evento, hanno ovviamente gestito altri ospiti. Conosciamo il Postiglione, e sappiamo che lo hanno fatto con stile e qualità. Bravissimi!
