Refuge Santa Rita In Introbio

A comfortable and welcoming family-run retreat. Excellent traditional local cuisine, especially the delicious homemade desserts. The view of the Biandino and Valvarrone valleys is priceless.

We stayed at the refuge the night between August 24 and August 25, and had a great time! The staff was friendly, calm, welcoming, and always available to answer guests' questions. The refuge, if you start from Alpe Paglio, is located behind a small ridge (so it's not visible until the last stretch of the trail). The rooms are very comfortable, with comfortable beds (despite being bunk beds), and clean bathrooms. I believe the dinner service changes daily and includes a first course, a second course, a dessert, and coffee. In my case, as a vegetarian, I chose tagliatelle with cream and zucchini, polenta accompanied by local cheeses, and a panna cotta with berries. Everything was excellent and the portions generous. Breakfast was perhaps a little sparse (yogurt, cereal, toast) and lacked savory options, but since it's self-service, you can easily go back for a second go. I highly recommend it; the price for half board, considering the quality of the service, is very reasonable! We felt in a very familiar and peaceful environment☺️

I've only tried the cakes. Very good. The service is courteous, I like it.

I stayed at the refuge for two nights. The welcome and service from the waitresses Francesca and Chiara were superb! I would recommend a raise. The food was good and excellent value. Thanks for everything, Lilly.

What can I say? Santa Rita is a great place. The spritz here is amazing.

My son and I were there on the occasion of the climb to Pizzo dei Tre Signori. The atmosphere was beautiful, the management was very welcoming, the food and sleep were perfect.

Very nice and friendly staff. A beer and a spritz (very good) accompanied by very good bruschetta seasoned with tomato and oregano, for 10 euros. Very honest.
