Refuge Casetta di Lapo In Abetone

Very relaxing place, beautiful landscape, good food, slightly high price, but justified for the location in which it is located.

Nice mountain refuge in a beautiful location. Too bad it's closed in winter.... Useful external benches with table, beautiful wooden sculpture of the mushroom seller..... Let's hope it's open at least in the summer......

Calling it a refuge is not very correct. In a shelter you stay warm inside. Prices are too high. A tiny tray of chips that literally fits in your hand is four euros... for crescentina they actually give you a tiny tigella... these prices are unjustified given that it is a place easily accessible by car so it really doesn't take anything to bring the raw material. The wait wasn't too long because there were only two people there anyway and it's great that it's also open in winter. Unfortunately we had an extremely foggy day so we will return to enjoy the walk and the view more.
