Very nice restaurant, we had pasta and gnocchi and both were excellent. The cassata, a typical Sicilian cake, was very good. We particularly enjoyed the decoration, with all the Sicilian tiles and pottery.

The waiter suggested paccheri with shrimp, and I was very pleased. Compliments to the chef and many compliments to the dining room staff. The place is quite popular with tourists, but the food is good.

Excellent restaurant with traditional Sicilian cuisine. There were three of us and we opted for the fixed fish menu. The appetizers alone were more than full. Everything was very good. Highly recommended.

Beautiful place to eat in Messina, rich Sicilian food and 10/10 attention

Ah, Il Siciliano restaurant! As soon as you walk in, the smell of delicious sauce and seafood hits you in the face—the kind that makes you hungry even if you've just eaten. The staff welcomes you with a smile as broad as the Strait of Messina, and you already know you're at home. As a good Swiss, accustomed to punctuality and order, I said to myself, "Let's see if the dishes arrive on time here..." And surprise! In ten minutes, I had a plate of pasta with sardines in front of me, which, gentlemen, deserved a gold watch: perfectly al dente, fragrant with fennel and sea salt. An almost... Swiss balance. Then, the swordfish alla ghiotta: tender, flavorful, with that caper and tomato sauce that makes you say, "Oh well, I'll stay here and finish with the Swiss cheese." The local white wine, served chilled but not frozen (impeccable punctuality!), completed the experience. Fair prices, a cheerful but not chaotic atmosphere—in short, a small miracle of precision and passion. As we would say in Zurich: "Efficiency with Heart." As they would say in Messina: "Damn, who's eating dinner?" ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Highly recommended, both for those seeking flavor and for those who appreciate the punctual time of good flavors.

I was impressed by the place, welcoming and very well organized. The food was very good and typical of the area. The staff was polite and helpful. The manager was knowledgeable and very professional. Excellent value for money. We will definitely be back.
