There's a grill outside and a dining area inside. The food is very good. You can order horse meat. The problem is that they have a hard time speaking English.

The food was good but the service was really poor. Plastic cups for the water and for the wines. Dirty toilet. Not recommended.

If you want to experience local atmosphere this is the place for you! Go eat and enjoy. Beware it's crowded and noisy but tą hats because it's so good once you're inside!

When I decide to come to Catania from Palermo my only thought is to go and eat horse meat 🐴🐎 and it's the only place where I eat it..... I decided to go into Carlo V to eat horse meat and it was delicious, everything good 😋😋😋 I recommend it 😉

Il Timo Gourmet Restaurant at Sheraton Catania

13/03/2026: This little corner on the ground floor of the Four Points by Sheraton hotel is a haven for Sicilian cuisine. I've eaten there several times and enjoyed refined and original dishes, such as a grilled octopus that was divine. My partner raves about it and highly recommends it, just as I do.
15/02/2026: Last night, February 14th, we had dinner at this Valentine's Day-themed restaurant. The dinner was truly excellent, kudos to the staff. Everything was exceptional, with unique dishes: from the nuggets served in avocado sauce to the truffle and stracchino ravioli for the first course, and the braised veal cheek on purple potatoes for the second course—a true delight. I highly recommend this restaurant. The table service was also impeccable, of course.
