Il Re Burlone is a historic establishment worth a visit. The food is excellent; it makes you wonder how the toast can be so good. For lovers of good beer, it's the ideal place, and the selection is vast. What can I say? Give it a try.

After years of living in Spinea... I found a place to eat a good club sandwich... Reading the comments of those who have visited the place... I read that one place wasn't recommended because she couldn't eat inside with her dog... I love dogs and have always had one, and I think dogs shouldn't be allowed in restaurants...

One of the few pubs in Spinea, or rather, in its hinterland, in a large residential area. A very charming place with a medieval noble theme, even the sandwiches are aristocratic in style... I "settled" for the lower-class "Cavaliere" sandwich. The sandwiches here generally come with two types of bread: ciabatta and soft toast. A wide selection of draft and bottled beers to choose from. Prices are reasonable. Friendly staff and a crocodile watching over the drinkers at the bar. Street parking is easy to find.

14/08/2026: Dinner for two. Two appetizers and two first courses, two glasses of wine, €114. The quality of the dishes is good but a bit touristy. The cicchetti selection lacks creamed cod and baby octopus, but it does include smoked swordfish. The raw ham is good. Spaghetti with clams, with plenty of clams but lost in the overwhelming garlic. The wine by the glass is limited in choice and of poor quality.
10/08/2026: What can I say? It's definitely a typical restaurant. If I'd been looking at the location (typical) and the food, I could have even given it a bit more. The appetizers and first courses were very good (the gnocchi were special!), but the tuna steak was very disappointing for everyone (overcooked and stringy). But what particularly disappointed us all was the lack of attention and courtesy from the staff upon arrival! Perhaps it was due to the lack of staff and the restaurant being full, but unfortunately, you can't pass the pressure on to the customer, especially with a €4 cover charge! Too bad!

14/06/2026: We went on Saturday evening (2 adults and 2 children), with a reservation for 8 pm outside. We arrived and didn't even have time to give our names before we were seated. Good food, fast and impeccable service. Special mention to the waiter Matteo, who was friendly and attentive, even cracking a few jokes with his children, which we really appreciated. We felt welcomed and cared for. Lara
