Ravioli Wang In Siena

Well... Nice atmosphere. The ravioli are colorful and handmade, but honestly, they don't taste like much. Then I had a soup, which was a fake ramen that had little to do with China. That was also a bit bland... Then we had fried rice; my daughter asked for chicken. The rice came with chicken that tasted like baking soda, disgusting. Fried rice should be made with chopped roast chicken or stir-fry chicken, but not something that tastes like baking soda. Disgusting. At least it helped me digest.

I lived in HKG/China for 30 years and often have problems with the taste adjustment in European countries, Ravioli Wang was perfect and authentic for us!

This is my first time trying this type of cuisine, and I have to say it was a delightful discovery. The ravioli are handmade and very unique, with the option of sampling them with different fillings. The menu is extensive and varied. The restaurant has a lovely outdoor garden, which definitely increases the seating. Service is fast and prices are reasonable.

I'm usually partial to our own cuisine, as everyone knows, but every now and then you have to try something different. And I have to say I left this Chinese place satisfied, which is no understatement. The name is a lie: they really know how to make the ravioli, they're delicious, and you can taste the fresh, high-quality ingredients inside. But the rest of the cuisine is also a joke, the flavors are there, and the dishes are meticulously crafted. The staff is attentive and kind, although a smile would be nice. The only thing is, you have to get used to their way of doing things: the dishes arrive at the table as and when they're ready, without much order. Your second course might arrive before your first, but if you know this, you'll adapt. In short, it's an honest place, where you can eat good, different things from the usual without spending a fortune. If that's your style, go there.

I've been a regular customer for years now, and it's thanks to the quality, deliciousness, and attention to detail in the preparation of the dishes. The atmosphere is lovely, the staff is attentive and helpful. It's impossible not to fall in love with Ravioli Wang.
