Historic restaurant in Prato, every now and then there can be some misunderstanding with the waiters but it is still an excellent Chinese restaurant

Place with very cheap furnishings with heating off in freezing cold, we dined on dessert plates, plastic trays, waiters without uniforms and confusing (starters arrived at the end of dinner), poor cleanliness. We found ourselves having to share our table with a couple of complete strangers. The food was very plentiful and all good.

This was my second time coming to Liu dumpling shop.
The first time was good and I really liked the dishes even if some flopped.
This time I returned and ordered some safe dishes: mapo tofu (excellent, just like in China) and soy noodles (good, but the time before I had eaten better ones). I also tried other dishes that I hadn't ordered the time before: the mixed vegetables, the lemon chicken and the braised pork.
All three dishes were good, but not exceptional enough to make me return (it is also true that these dishes are usually accompanied with a bowl of white rice, which I didn't do and in retrospect it could have improved my rating).
Overall though, if I want authentic Chinese food, I'll go back. 4⭐⭐⭐⭐
The environment needs to be completely revised!! I, who had come with a total of 3 people, were placed on the sides, near the door from which the cold wind entered. I even saw a table next to the bathroom entrance, for two people!! At least put a screen for those near the front door (which is a lot of people coming and going).
In short, if there are only a few of you, better not. 2 ⭐⭐
The staff was a little busy with the tables and was there and not there, but I think it was because we were out of the way and it wasn't possible to fully appreciate the service. 3 ⭐⭐⭐

The Pancetta con salsa cinese is a beautiful gift, but it's not a gift without consequences.
Now, I usually have a stomach of steel, but on this particular day watching Juventus-PSV on my phone at the table, my stomach had clearly decided to embark on its own little adventure. I was about halfway through the dish, slurping up the sauce ike there was no tomorrow, when I felt it. A little rumble. A harmless, innocent rumble... but oh no, it was the precursor to something more sinister.
I attempted to ignore it. I mean, I was in a restaurant, surrounded by people, with a bowl of deliciousness in front of me. But then, it happened. The first fart.
It wasn’t a loud one. In fact, it was almost the opposite—sneaky. Just a tiny puff of air, barely detectable to the human ear. But I knew. I knew it was only the beginning. I quickly glanced around, hoping no one had noticed. Phew, no one seemed to care, and the man at the table next to me was too engrossed in his sizzling duck to hear anything.
I cautiously returned to my Pancetta con salsa cinese, trying to maintain some semblance of grace, but the pancetta sauce was working its magic in a way I had not anticipated. With every forkful, I felt another rumble. The chinese spices were getting revenge for all the years I’d taken them for granted.
By the time I was nearing the bottom of the plate it was as if I had entered a one-man orchestra of flatulence. Each bite seemed to trigger a different tone, like a symphony of farts. Squeaky, whistling, grumbling, and, at one point, something I can only describe as a sad trombone sound. I couldn't help but let out a giggle at my own expense.
But then came the biggest challenge of all. As I reached the end of my meal, the final fart was inevitable. The absolute crescendo of my digestive drama. It felt like the entire restaurant held its breath as I let out what could only be described as a "catastrophic event" from my body.
I froze.
For a moment, it seemed like time stopped. The man with the sizzling duck glanced over at me, his eyes wide. I could see his brain working overtime, processing what had just happened.
Ravioli Liu is a beautiful place, but a place now filled with my gasses. It's been 20 minutes since I left, and I can't stop farting - but I give 5 stars for the amazing food and hospitality. Forza Cina!

It is a truly particular restaurant inside a warehouse but furnished with round tables and comfortable armchairs. It offers traditional Chinese cuisine and hotpot, a cooking method with a large 'pan' in the center of the table in which various foods are cooked in a convivial manner among all the guests. Cute and particular. The staff speaks little Italian. In the comment it was a great experience.
