I love this place! The ravioli and food in general are a guarantee. Go there with a very easy mood, and without looking around too much. If you're interested in eating, it's a Prato institution... always busy even during the week. In summer, it's probably best to book. I haven't been back in a while, but I don't know if it's a bad idea!

I had dumplings for breakfast, and they were incredibly delicious! It's a shame I'm not a local! Otherwise, I could eat them every day 😋 and it wouldn't be enough! This shop is located in a secluded alley and is hard to find! I just happened to be passing by and saw it on the map, so I specifically looked for it.

Definitely an authentic place, with delicious dumplings of all kinds, and other typical Chinese dishes not found in regular "Westernized" Chinese restaurants. Low prices and huge portions, so it's best to come in groups and share. The room is truly spartan (if I'm being complimentary).

The "Chinese People's House" There's nothing else to add. The portions are generous. I recommend ordering carefully because the dishes are huge but very tasty. The young staff serve you at lightning speed. The service is impeccable. Just to give you an example, I dropped my chopsticks on the floor and in 2 seconds the guy came over with new chopsticks because he heard the sound of my chopsticks hitting the floor... I recommend it to everyone. Obviously, it's not the best in terms of aesthetics or location... but it's definitely worth it. Always book in advance because there may or may not be room.

03/05/2026: Today, with my friend from Prato, I went to try the famous grilled ravioli my friend boasts so much about. Porta al Serraglio is located across from the Prato station, easy to find, and the staff were courteous and kind in accommodating our every request... the bill was a bit pricey, but otherwise, the company was very enjoyable, and I can't wait to see her again. With my friend, every place is magical... oh, I forgot, the gnocchi were a real discovery... incredibly tasty.
