RESTAURANT REVIEW
- RATANA’ - @ratana
The restaurant is located inside a historic building from the early 1900s set in the futuristic setting of the renovated Garibaldi/Porta Nuova/Isola district. It is a well-known restaurant in Milan, celebrated for its modern Italian cuisine with a focus on high-quality, seasonal ingredients. The restaurant, in the skilled hands of Chef and patron CESARE BATTISTI - @cesarebattisti - is particularly famous for its creative dishes that blend traditional Milanese and Italian flavors with modern culinary techniques.
- OUR REVIEW
In a cozy atmosphere, with industrial-oriented interiors and gems like the counter made with marble from the Milan Cathedral, RATANA’ feels elegantly casual, warm and welcoming. The service, attentive and professional is lightened by a friendly approach that makes diners “feel home”.
The food, main protagonist here, is everything you may expect for, and even more: great seasonal products, perfectly combined to deliver pure joy in both, taste and textures. Explosions of flavors, a constant in every dish. Traditional recipes from all over the peninsula, Milanese oriented dishes and Grandma’s preferred ones all of them loudly telling diners with a modernly pitched voice: “enjoy the Italian food!”.
