Delicious eggplant parmigiana with grated cheese on top! Beautiful restaurant, great atmosphere. Service could improve a little, in terms of attitude.

An excellent experience, a journey through Milanese cuisine. A tasting menu with wine pairings is highly recommended. Attentive, empathetic, and dynamic staff. A team of young but highly professional people, even in explaining each course. A simple atmosphere with refined and elegant details. The table setting, in my opinion, was tasteful. Background music, the touch of table lamps creating atmosphere. A perfect dinner. The occasion was a birthday. During the phone call, a month before, I had asked if a candle could accompany the last course, dessert. Last night, the dessert was brought to the birthday boy with the requested candle, a much-appreciated detail that made the evening even more enjoyable. Thanks to all the staff for making the experience memorable.

Last Saturday, my wife and I finally tried Ratanà, a restaurant I'd been wanting to visit for a long time. Unfortunately, chef Cesare Battisti wasn't there, and I would have loved to meet him in person, but the experience was extraordinary nonetheless. We started by sharing fried zucchini with pecorino cheese and lemon sauce: a true delight, crunchy, light, and perfectly balanced. For main courses, my wife chose tortelloni stuffed with figs and ricotta with cacio e pepe sauce, fig oil, and fig pieces: a simply sublime dish, so delicious it's hard to describe in words. I opted for the risotto alla vecchia Milano, and it too was perfectly executed, creamy, and full of flavor. Every expectation I had for Ratanà was fully met: exceptional food, a welcoming atmosphere, and attentive service that made us feel pampered. We can't wait to return next time we're in Milan. A place that deserves every praise!

Excellence in apparent simplicity.

Exceptional food, perfect wait time between courses, excellent wine list, and super friendly, smiling, attentive but not intrusive staff! Lovely clientele! Reservations are absolutely essential, but it's super easy online. The only flaw: the details! The wooden chairs are clearly chipped, the decision not to use tablecloths—I'm sorry, but I don't appreciate it—the air conditioning was lacking...all things that could be easily fixed, of course! This restaurant is highly recommended for a romantic dinner or a lovely evening with friends! Kudos to them for always being open!

Had lunch today and it was definitely a great experience! Excellent food and excellent presentation. I'd been wanting to come for a while, and I wasn't wrong. The only flaw was the service, or rather... what might be a great asset for some, was at least a small negative for us. For some reason, we were served so quickly, with too-short breaks between courses, that the meal was almost a rush. I almost felt like the waiters were pushing us to free up the table for new customers. Not a pleasant feeling in a restaurant of this caliber. The truly delicious dishes clearly outweighed this small issue, so I hope this feeling doesn't recur on my next visit. See you next time!

Bel locale. In genere si deve prenotare un po' prima perché sempre pieno. Cucina di ottima fattura. Servizio giovane e preparato. Conto un po' alto, ma sono i prezzi di Milano in centro.. Io tornerò sicuramente. Raccomando
