Raro In Frascati

Very nice location and good food but very expensive.

I went to this restaurant for dinner. The place is nice, and the food was acceptable. Honestly, I expected much more from a place like this. The cuisine isn’t very representative of the local tradition, but in some ways that’s a positive, since you can’t always eat carbonara or cacio e pepe in one of their countless variations that are offered everywhere around here. I tried the tagliata and the cod, and to be honest, they really didn’t meet my expectations.

The terrace is truly unique. If you want to impress your loved one, take them to eat on Raro's terrace. The food is also delicious, and the girls are incredibly kind.

Entering Raro is like crossing the threshold of a small museum where every object tells a story. The furnishings aren't just accessories: they're the protagonists. Vintage armchairs, brass lamps that seem to have emerged from a 1930s film, and shelves filled with curious objects create an atmosphere suspended between the past and the present. Every corner invites you to stop, observe, and discover details that escape the first glance. But the most memorable surprise comes in the women's restroom: in the center, an elegant fountain immediately captures the eye, transforming a typically functional space into a true place to be admired. It's a detail that confirms how much Raro loves to surprise its guests, curating each space uniquely.

A truly wonderful discovery. I had dinner at this lovely restaurant in late August, featuring a beautiful interior and an equally beautiful panoramic terrace. The atmosphere is very refined, with courteous and attentive staff. The menu offers tasty, high-quality dishes at moderate prices. Recommended.

I've known the place for years... last Monday, I recommended it to my boyfriend for his birthday. We booked a table for 27 people, but as soon as we arrived, we realized it was far too small for that number of guests. Once the last guests arrived, we asked the waiters to add a few more tables (I should point out that, being Monday night, the place wasn't at all full, on the contrary), but we were only given the "next" table, without the option of moving it closer together. This created an unpleasant situation, as we had to split our tables between two different tables. The food, as always, is really good, and the place is impressive, but it's a shame to receive this kind of service, especially considering the prices. Furthermore, there were several issues with the orders while ordering, but on the other hand, with such a large table, I understand the inconvenience. I would have liked to celebrate my graduation party there, but given the situation, I don't recommend it for large groups.

Abbiamo cenato in terrazza .. molto bella e suggestiva , come anche la sala interna . buoni i fritti e molto buona la pinsa . Personale cordiale . Sicuramente torneremo

Siamo stati da Raro e abbiamo provato un fuori menù la Fiorentina. Un’esperienza davvero positiva! La carne era eccellente, cotta alla perfezione, tenera e ricca di sapore. Il locale è molto curato e accogliente, ideale per chi cerca qualità e un ambiente rilassato. Il personale è stato impeccabile: gentile, preparato e sempre disponibile a spiegare i piatti e consigliare al meglio. Torneremo sicuramente per provare altre specialità.
