An astronomical, simply magical (g)astronomic experience. The dishes are of the highest quality (understandably so, given that most of the ingredients are produced in-house), and the dishes are surprisingly creative; the service is impeccable (friendly, well-timed, etc.); the atmosphere is convivial, a culinary and human indulgence; the location, as they say now, is fairytale-like, with the Alps as a backdrop, a natural wonder. What more can I say: I'll be back as soon as possible.

The experience was surprising in every way. Starting with the warm welcome in a magical and exquisitely curated location. Sharing a table made everything even more enjoyable, because Rantan's cuisine naturally invites exchange and conversation: each dish brings with it a detail, a fragrance, that deserves to be discovered together.
What is immediately striking is the almost artisanal care with which the ingredients are treated, especially the vegetables grown directly by the owner. You can truly taste the difference in the dish. The flavors are clear, full, never forced. The cuisine is sophisticated; you can sense a perfect balance between technique and respect for the ingredients, as if each element had a precise role in a small composition.
The service is attentive without being intrusive, and the ambiance contributes to creating a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere, ideal for both a dinner with friends and a special occasion.
In short, Rantan is a restaurant that manages to transform a dinner into an experience: authentic, elegant, and surprising. We will definitely return.

How wonderful! In a restaurant industry increasingly overrun by standardized, soulless, pseudo-luxury establishments, perhaps true luxury is a genuine and genuine welcome. At Rantan, guests are asked to remove their shoes and put on the complimentary slippers—because, yes, it's as if we were in their home, and we all eat around the same table. The menu is set and prepared locally, mostly using vegetables from their garden. In my opinion, several courses are more "authentic" (in concept) and of higher quality than those served in some Michelin-starred restaurants.
What can I say: a new, high-quality, and genuine dining experience. The €55 price tag is absolutely reasonable, considering the current restaurant landscape, where a mediocre carbonara costs €18.
We'll definitely be back.

An extraordinary experience! We were welcomed into the home of the chef and his wife, and we ate lunch in their dining room at a beautiful wooden table with everyone sitting together. Each course features vegetables and fruits they grow, and the other ingredients are sourced from small local producers! All the dishes were delicious, and we'll definitely be back!

We had lunch at this Farmhouse on Sunday. What can I say, a truly positive experience! The owners opened their nest to us, making us feel part of the family. The welcome and service were excellent. The location is very well-maintained and welcoming. The menu is primarily plant-based, featuring products from the local garden; simple, yet beautifully prepared and presented. They collaborate with local businesses, promoting local products. Attention and research are the foundation of this omnivorous menu, with extreme care taken to accommodate the different needs/needs of guests (e.g., pregnant and/or vegetarian options). To sum up, we once again congratulate Carol and Francesco for this experience, which is well worth experiencing! See you soon!
P.S. The bread baked by Carol is truly sublime! It's definitely worth ordering a loaf to go! 🌾
