Just looking at the portion of fries, you can tell the excellent quality of the food and, above all, the kindness of the staff.

Restaurant with sea view. Very nice wine selection. Also half bottles. Quite good starter: 3 x tartare fish and then meatballs served with dips, none of which were homemade. In other words, industrial products. Larger selection of bread, but not homemade either. Elegantly laid tables. Very friendly staff. Not everyone speaks English. Very nice ambience. Quality of my two meals: ok, but nothing special.

This restaurant is a stylish, bustling terrace set above, a busy beach side road. The other groups of diners provided entertainming people watching. Lovely, attentive staff. There are not many dining options around here but this place is brilliant exception and not crazy expensive - €50 for two mains, two glasses of wine and cover charge (incl crisps and glasses of fizz!) Both restaurant menu and pizza had good choices. Our fish involtini plate was one of the best dishes we have had in Sicily.

21/05/2025: We were pleasantly surprised by "Il Pappamondo", a truly exceptional discovery! We tried the pizza and it was simply perfect: light, incredibly digestible and with an exquisite flavor. We can't wait to return to try the other specialties and complete our gastronomic experience.

21/06/2025: To say excellent is to say the least!!! Too bad you can't give more than 5 stars. I would start with the people and the owners...excellent service, fast and friendly. I had a medium-rare cut of meat, truly exceptional, as they say "it melted in your mouth". The pizza and fish were also exceptional, which I had the pleasure of tasting on several occasions. Would I recommend it to you? With my eyes closed.
19/06/2025: Unfortunately, we didn't feel so comfortable at dinner. The terrace is super nice, but the service was a bit chaotic, and the food unfortunately fell short of expectations. It wasn't a big deal, but the bacon was soft, not crispy as advertised; the steak had many inedible pieces on it, and the pasta was very al dente. Dessert was supposed to be ice cream for the kids, but the employee unfortunately made no effort to explain what was in the flavor, which we couldn't imagine (our Italian is good enough to understand it in Italian – if someone explained it...). Unfortunately, we wouldn't come back.
