We stayed at the Saltria again and, as always, we loved it. It's especially ideal for families with children: a large playroom, a magic carpet lift with its own practice slope right outside, and numerous opportunities for tobogganing, skiing, and hiking. The room and food were also excellent, and we were able to truly relax. We'll definitely be back!

A thoroughly enjoyable stay at Hotel Saltria. The location is perfect for skiers, as you can ski right from the hotel onto the slopes – it couldn't be more convenient. The rooms are all new, very tastefully furnished with lots of wood, and wonderfully bright thanks to the large windows. You immediately feel at home and can enjoy the mountain views. The food and service were also excellent. The staff was always friendly and attentive, so we felt completely well looked after. We would love to come back and can absolutely recommend the hotel. We booked the hotel several months in advance. Shortly before the trip, my husband had surgery, unfortunately with unexpected complications. From a medical perspective, the trip was no longer advisable (no physical exertion, no spa treatments, severely restricted diet). Since the hotel wouldn't accept payment with our insured credit card, our travel cancellation insurance didn't cover it. I therefore requested a goodwill solution in the form of a voucher for a future stay and provided medical documentation. Instead, we were offered a cancellation with a 70% fee. While we were still looking for a solution, the hotel canceled the booking themselves, retaining 70% of the payment. Since the hotel was fully booked at that time, I got the impression that they were trying to exploit the situation to double their profit – keeping 70% from us and re-letting the room. I found this very disappointing and not customer-oriented. Ultimately, we reinstated the booking and went ahead with the trip to avoid incurring the full financial loss. Ultimately, we had the booking reinstated and went anyway. Regarding the hotel itself: The renovated suite is superb – very spacious, furnished to a high standard, with a breathtaking view of the Plattkofel mountain and a large balcony. The new spa area is very well done, featuring several saunas and a heated outdoor pool. Not all areas have been renovated, but the older section is also well-maintained. Breakfast and dinner (a five-course menu with choices) were good, although somewhat less regionally focused compared to other South Tyrolean hotels. The staff was always polite and friendly. The location directly on hiking trails and next to the Florian lift is ideal. Conclusion: A truly excellent hotel. However, I'm deducting one star because I felt the way they handled our situation was inappropriate.

I've been staying at this hotel for five years now and I'm always excited about what awaits me (renovated rooms, expanded spa area, etc.). The staff is always attentive to ensuring that guests feel comfortable during their stay.
