12/03/2026: We had an absolutely wonderful experience at La Locanda del Gallo. Don’t let the alleyway and side entrance fool you — this place is incredibly spacious, with enough seating for even a large wedding party both inside and out. The atmosphere is charming, authentic, and full of character.
The staff was amazing from start to finish — warm, accommodating, and genuinely welcoming. There are plenty of options on the menu to suit just about anyone’s taste, and the fresh, handmade pasta dishes were outstanding. Everything tasted authentic and made with care.
We ended up spending about two hours here while waiting out the rain, and never once felt rushed. It was the perfect place to relax, enjoy a great meal, and soak in the experience. Highly recommend La Locanda del Gallo for a sit-down lunch, dinner, or even just a cold drink.

06/12/2025: We had orichiette with sausage and ragu and finished off with hot chocolate, tiramisu and chocolate and coconut tart. Very good food and close to the main streets of Alberoberro.
