I highly recommend this place. The food was amazing, the staff was incredible, the environment was like a big family reunion. We walked into a hidden gem that only the locals know about. Lively and vibrant, everyone catching up with each other, and no cell phones in sight! The owner and the waiter spoke perfect English. They were super accommodating. Our waiter Nico helped us pick out our dishes after a few questions about our likes and dislikes. And he was spot on! We were 1st served the traditional Bari Rosticceria, it was like a warm hug on a cold, rainy, winter day. The best way I can describe it is; it was very similar to beef stew with just the beef stredded and sauce wrapped in dough and baked to perfection. There are more than 20 flavor combinations. My favorite was the pesto with mozzarella and my husband's was the seafood with capers. * Side note: Try to reserve a table ahead of time. We didn't get to Bari until 8PM, no problem dinner starts at 7:00 PM here!

My partner and I were passing through Bari, and as lovers of good food, we couldn't miss trying one of Puglia's most famous delicacies...panzerotti! Over the course of two days, we tried several, but the ones at "La Casa del Gusto Panzerotteria" were the absolute best! Thin dough, perfectly fried, and not at all greasy; the panzerotti are light and fragrant (you'll hardly believe they're fried!). The ingredients used for the fillings are excellent; one leads to another, and you'll see, you won't be able to stop eating them! You'll be eager to return to "La Casa del Gusto Panzerotteria," not only for how delicious the panzerotti are, but also for the wonderful staff; everyone is friendly and welcoming. Francesco deserves a special mention: a delightful person whose kindness and natural charm made us feel right at home!
