Purscell Gourmet In Sangiano

We tried this restaurant on a Monday, a day when many are closed. Family atmosphere with few pretensions. Mixed clientele. Unfortunately, once we were seated, we were presented with what we discovered to be the menu of the day at 12 euros... with 4 first courses and 4 second courses (3 meat, 1 fish). When we asked to replace a meat dish, we were told: there is cod! We then suggest a cheese option: there are no cheeses! Almost at the end of our lunch, a table next to ours is occupied, to which an unexpected à la carte menu based on mushrooms is offered... subsequently at the table in front, with a fixed menu, cheeses are first listed and then served... Certainly little clarity and little desire to please the customer.

Fast service, simple and homemade menu... the staff is attentive and present... generous portions... I ate well, quality and without haste... I recommend it to those who like the classic old-fashioned atmosphere... and above all to those who like to eat well with super portions... see you next time!!

A little cold place in every sense. Local tavern with excellent dishes although, given the overall result, the final bill seemed slightly overpriced. Worth trying again anyway

Welcoming Osteria Bar (also Pizzeria in the evening) in the town of Sangiano, less than 20 km from Varese and 4 km from the Arolo beach on Lake Maggiore. Limited menu, but all good and genuine, even if perhaps a little too seasoned. The service is quick and the staff is friendly and helpful to the customer's needs. A single space of around 100 m2 in which to organize lunches or dinners with many seats, furnished like a tavern. Generous portions and prices appropriate to the type of place. At the weekend it is better to book. Advised.

Classic atmosphere of a village club but cuisine with refined and definitely excellently prepared dishes. If I may give you some advice, order dishes with lake fish, personally I tried tortelloni with perch and mixed lake fish, truly delicious. Friendly and friendly staff, fast service and reasonable prices. It is also a pizzeria. Highly recommended!

Great traditional restaurant, price-quality is very good.

Pure Italy. Great food. Super friendly people. Typical Italian food, sometimes no puzza. Something for gourmets. 😃
