Pupuseria Don Nelson In Milano

They're very good, but lately they've been losing their touch... I don't know if I went on a bad day, but the beans weren't mashed, they were more like they'd been kneaded. Otherwise, everything was fine, good service and very attentive, a great variety of pupusas for being so far from home...

Very good but wait 40 minutes on a Monday evening....

I frequented Bovisa for five years as a student and I bitterly regret having only recently discovered this place. The pupusas are delicious: I had one with beans, jalapeños, and cheese, one with loroco and cheese, and one with cheese and beans. All creamy and flavorful. The accompanying salad is the best sauerkraut salad I've ever had: spicy, just the right amount of acidity, and crunchy, it's incredibly satisfying. For all this plus a bottle of water, I paid €7—very reasonable. The service may not be exactly five-star, but they're always very welcoming, and every time I've been there, I've had no problems. Definitely my top recommendation for lunch, especially considering the value for money, which is significantly worse at other places in the area.

It feels like being transported abroad. The food is very good. I wasn't thrilled with the service, which consisted of plastic plates and no cutlery, but it was still in line with the price. If I'm in the area again, I'd gladly return.

A very nice place. The revueltas were delicious. I ordered one with cheese and loroco, and it was super simple. The tamarind soda was delicious, as was the horchata. I loved the price; most of the products were €2 each. Highly recommended. The place is a bit crowded, but I think that's a characteristic of us Latinos.

I've changed my opinion because the service has changed a lot. The phone calls are quick and friendly, and the food and pupusas are delicious. Perhaps they could improve the organization for better service, but it's understandable given the number of customers. Congratulations to the kitchen staff, who are always friendly, and despite the number of customers, the quality is always excellent. I'm satisfied with the pupusas, 10/10. Keep going... proudly Salvadoran.
