15/06/2026: Well-maintained restaurant in the municipal park and excellent pizza, service could be improved
09/06/2026: This time we moved to Monastir, where this pizzeria was recommended to us.
The location is nice, set in a well-ventilated square with a children's playground.
The staff was courteous and quick, and could use even more training given their young age.
The same can be said for the table service.
The pizzas we ordered were delicious, with a thick crust and very well-seasoned.
The two portions of fries were a little less delicious.
The draft beers were decent, perhaps slightly less than the 0.30 cl we ordered.
It would certainly have been appreciated if, at the end of the dinner and after payment, we had been offered coffee and/or an Amaro, as is now customary in many places.
The bill was average for similar establishments.
There are two negative comments.
The first was an impolite expression toward a diner who had asked for a pizza with A-grade mozzarella. When the pizza was brought to the table, the owner/waiter who served it asked who had placed the order, and once the lady said it was hers, he blurted out, "I wonder why, but I imagined it."
This statement was unpleasant to the author, who was listening and avoided interjecting since there were dear guests present.
An equally impolite statement coming from a woman with food intolerances.
I just want to think it was a casual and inappropriate comment.
The second negative note concerns the bathrooms in the small square in front, which were in extremely poor sanitary conditions.
I want to point out, however, that my assessments are always, and especially in this case, pertain solely to the restaurant itself.
In any case, we'll return to this later to see if there have been any improvements.
