August 2025: The castle is still closed. The sign mentions renovations to the internal chapel, with completion estimated by December 25th. If you're passing through and enjoy the charm of ruins and ancient history, it's worth a visit from the outside. The interior is still clearly visible through the closed gates.

26/08/2025: A simply enchanting place at the foot of the mountain. In winter, it's easily accessible by chairlift. Good slopes. Service was a bit slow, and if I hadn't remembered about the table, they'd forgotten. However, the food was excellent in a stunning setting. Lounge chair rental available for €5 (a good price, I'd say). The gazebo is a bit pricey (€100). Overall, a 5-star setting. The path to get there is easy, even for those with very young children. Definitely recommended. It closes by 5 pm when it's crowded. Otherwise, even earlier. I recommend booking.
24/08/2025: Unfortunately, we picked the wrong day for everyone. On a rainy day, we took friends to what is truly a magnificent place, where we've always had a great time. We ordered sandwiches (first, he told us they didn't have polenta) and they arrived still cold from the freezer (the bread wasn't even warmed up). It was obvious they wanted to close quickly given the weather and didn't feel like serving lunch... it's really a shame because they could have clearly told us it was closed given the weather (we even called to make sure it was open). It was a shame, but it was a terrible experience.

28/06/2025: Dopo qualche anno di una gestione diciamo “poco attenta” finalmente è tornata alla direzione di persone competenti che hanno riportato Qualità del cibo , un ambiente elegante e professionalità nel servizio . Orecchiette allo spada , cottura perfetta e finalmente quantità di pesce accettabile . Ci sono tornata già due volte e ci ritornerò
19/04/2025: We love this place which we have visited several times, recently there has been a change in the cuisine which is more traditional with a good choice of vegetarian dishes and this has been a revelation for us, delicious, more refined cuisine, we really liked all the dishes, special mention to the starter with the artichoke and the octopus with exceptional cooking. The setting is spacious and elegant, and the icing on the cake is the young waitress who is so kind and bright, whom we are happy to see again every time, very warm and communicative despite our very poor Italian... A real favorite! We will come back for sure!
